We have been to Filippo's many times and every time the food is very very good and the service is excellent. Pizza, manicotti, lasagna and Veal Parmesan are all excellent. They are very busy and sometimes there is a wait but it is definitely worth every minute you wait. They do have carry out too. Highly recommend!

I had heard of this place from some friends in Cincinnati that used to live in Champaign. We stopped on the way to Iowa for a football game. The thin crust pizza was fresh and cooked to the right consistency, but the key ingredient is the sweet and tart salad dressing which doubles as a pizza topping or dipping sauce. Very unique and worth the trip!

Had a great server, Kelly very bubbly, smiley, and great service! My husband order the platter w/4 choices of meat (brisket, pulled pork, ribs and wings) one side and we ordered an extra side. Wings were out of this world! Ribs were a little dry on part of them and very moist on the other side! Brisket was very tender and delicious. Pulled pork I did not taste. The french fries were awesome as well. I did not like their coleslaw.

It's not an updated store, so they don't have the Icees and the extended coffee bar like most others. They're right down the road from Lake of the Woods and do carry fishing bait. Their bakery is always good, fresh donuts, pizza, sandwiches. Their coffee is always good, but don't expect all the bells n whistles like Starbuck's. The updated/expanded stores have a huge coffee bar with all kinds of flavored coffees and the bottles of syrups to add. Just cream & sugar here.

The Domino's in Mahomet offers the same industrial pizza and sides as one of their stores would offer in any of 1000 cities. As long as you adjust your expectations to reality, you'll be pleased. Now, if you insist on hand-tossed, unique, over-the-top good pizza, I'd suggest Aurelio's in Homewood, Illinois. But in Mahomet, you'd be two hours away, and probably should play (eat?) the cards you've been dealt. Domino's is staffed by very friendly and well-trained people. The store is spotlessly clean, and the product is made in plain sight. Prices are very reasonable, especially with the coupons to be found in many media. Here's a hint or two: don't order extra cheese nor extra sauce unless you want a LOT of both. Toppings are generous, and extra topping are reasonably priced. Also, ordering online works great. Give it a try. The other entrees are also good, ranging from wings to chocolate cake. From I-74, take the 172 exit and go South 100 yards to the Shell station. Domino's is co-located there.
