Pizzas are ok , going by reviews thought we would be totally wowed but unfortunately not , we had take away, staff and service 5/5 but food could have been bit better , you can sit in , and dessert good and home made

This restaurant was close to our accommodation so decided to book it in advance as we passed one night. We booked it for 8 the following night and the gent outside he would reserve a sheltered table with a patio heater for us. We were really looking forward to it.When we arrived our table was not reserved and we were offered another which was much less comfortable on a chilly night. Everything went well with the orders, the food was good enough, drinks as we ordered but when we got the bill we were way overcharged. We decided to pay individually for what we got so one by one we payed at the till. Only one paying by card and when the transaction was done she had been charged 30e for a lasagne which was priced at 8.50 and one gin and tonic. Again we queried this and the staff became quite rude and agressive and offered my friend another g&t for free. We explained we didnât want it. In the end she got her refund but not without a major row which you don't need on holidays.Wouldn't go back there again.Check your bill before you pay in these restaurants. We were way overcharged twice.

This pizzeria/restaurant is not much to look at outside. But it has a nice lady serving and the food we had was really tasty and good. We shared a pizza and salad,both were excellent. Would recommend , as another reviewer said , this hidden gem.

We have eaten here many times before and it was always good. On this occasion the service was quite good and the staff were friendly but rushed, the food really let it down. I ordered salmon which was overcooked, the salad was bland and small. My husband had steak which he said was quite good, the blue cheese sauce was tasteless, the chips looked as though they had been thrown onto a side plate. When we received the bill we had been overcharged by a considerable amount, a full bottle of wine and a soft drink, nearly 25euros extra, fortunately we checked the bill. We had two prawn cocktail starters which were nothing special, The correct bill came to nearly 65euros, it was not worth the money and we would not return, pity as the food used to be really good. We would recommend spending your hard earned cash elsewhere, try the Rompeolas in the Avanti Hotel, just around the corner, only a few euros more and we had a superb meal, see separate review.

this place is so good, the pizzas are consistently delicious ,really tasty. we ate here so many times and often ordered another one. all the staff are brilliant especially Rudi who is amazing at his job, really looking forward to going there again when we go back.

I donât know why people give this place good reviews. I live right next to the Italian border and have had hundreds of excellent Italian meals in my life - this was not one of them!The only good thing is the pistacchio cheesecake dessert. The spaghetti were ridiculous - average at best. The salad was among the worst weâve ever had. We were three people, and all of our dishes were below average. Not worth spending your money on! Plenty of other places around that are much better. Sicuramente qualche ristorante di vostri amici... oppure le altre 750 recensioni sono false... comunque grazie per la recensione cercheremo di fare meglio le insalate e che gli spaghetti non siano più "ridicoli"... I gusti sono gusti e sicuramente ci sono tanti altri ristoranti migliori di noi.... ma a noi e ai nostri clienti (che non siete sicuramente voi) piace quello che facciamo....

We went to the Big wave after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, the pizzas were very good but the way the 3 tastes were option lost in translation & confusing. We enjoyed our meals but my wife felt staff were staring at us a lot from behind the bar & didn't enjoy her meal as much as me .I had the sea food pizza which was delicious. Although I'd have preferred a thicker base .The 4th photo is a pizza going to another table, I though looked amazing so snapped it lol.

Had dinner here tonight, pizza was great and the children loved the pizza nuttela. It is a little bit outside the centre but incredible views on the harbor, los lobos and lanzetote. The staff is very (child) friendly and the owner is amazingly nice, not pushy but funny and attentive in a good way. Highly recommended for pizza and pasta.We booked through tripadvisor/thefork and got a nice discount on the bill. Thanks!
