La Famiglia Pizza Restaurant

As a local it's taken us a while to try La Famiglia but having now been twice in the last month I can confidently recommend it. Really excellent pizzas, great service, cosy ambience, caring and attentive owner and reasonably priced drinks. All in all, the perfect local eatery to visit with friends. We'll definitely be back.

Nice open area, good cafe food, attractive decor, recommend the burger, great fresh juices .Would be really a great cafe but beware it attracts a lot of Mother’s and their very noisy, small fretful children which cry and wail constantly -( witnessed one pulling plants from the pot and picking flowers while mum looked on!)

My teen son and I visited and enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe of Polar Bear. We ate garlic bread and two pizzas. There is a great cocktail and wine list but unfortunately I was driving so couldn’t try more than a glass of wine. Food was good and it was great valueThank you jaynic

Piedmont Inn

The Piedmont Inn has been Blackheath's iconic restaurant since 1982. The Italian theme of the restaurant still exists and we continue to serve a great range of pastas, pizzas and meals to suit every taste for both dine and takeaway. We only use whole food

obviously popular with the locals, this is a very busy small restaurant. only open 4 evenings a week so it is recommended that you book. the Pizzas are original and very tasty. the pastas sauces are mostly cream based so they are very rich but overall the service is good and the atmosphere friendly.

Station Bar & Wood Fired Pizza

Friendly welcoming staff. It seemed popular with both locals and tourists alike (even on a Monday night). A very respectable and reasonably priced wine list - in fact one of the most reasonable I’ve seen anywhere in Oz! A great pizza selection (incl several veggie options, as well as gluten free and vegan cheese available). The "Glenbrook" pizza with feta, pumpkin, caramelised onions and spinach was very tasty.Only a couple of minor suggestions for improvement - heating of the plates the pizzas come on, and providing condiments at the table such as chilly flakes.

We were recommended to go here for Italian. I must admit I was expecting a traditional Italian restaurant, but discovered it's really a pizza place. Nevertheless the food was great. The pizzas we had were the best I've had for a long long time. Toppings were great and some unusual combinations. Staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. What I really liked was that you could see the pizzas being made, and see that they were not ready-made bases... there was a mound of dough ready to be made into the bases. My only dislike was how small the place is. They do have an outside area, but that would be too cold, I think, even with the heaters, in the cooler weather. Inside was very cramped, especially when people were there to collect take-aways, which there were many of, Nevertheless I'd go again. The owner was super-nice and the food was great.
