D'Ici et D'Ailleurs

Apparently this place only opened around June '17 - we noticed it while exploring the town and decided to book it for an evening meal for 4 of us.Very glad we did - attentive service and delicious food with good variety on offer (a little from France, and a little from further afield as the name implies). We ate outside, under the walls of the Cathedral (there are tables there in a quiet little alleyway which reaches the Place de Herbes) and it made for a very pleasant dining experience all told.Wish the owners all the best with their venture but based on our experince am sure this place will be a success.

When we arrived for lunch on a busy Saturday we were kindly welcomed and served delicious food. Our only regret is that after lunch things took a bit longer, so we took our coffee elsewhere, but we still appreciate the nice experience! Merci!

Enjoyed lunch in this new (3 weeks old when we visited) Moroccan-cuisine restaurant. The Tagine plat-de-jour was freshly prepared & delicious and the fruit salad refreshing. The stone-walled arched interior was cool and comfortable. Service from the owner-chef was friendly and engaging (with good English). And good value for money. You will find it near the Cinema just behind the Tourist Office.Bonjour, merci pour votre visite, nous sommes ravis de vous avoir fait passer un agréable moment et d'avoir ravi vos papilles. Au plaisir de vous revoir dans notre établissement

TripAdviser have been confusing the [excellent] 'Les Delices d'Orient' Moroccan café/take-away in Uzès in Southern France with a much larger Lebanese restaurant in Paris 500 miles North - even the photo of the Uzès one is actually the Paris one - for MONTHS now. For accuracy [TA is now pretty good on Uzes] and try and to uphold TripAdviser's reputation for accuracy we've bothered to point this out to TA at least 3 times over the last few months - and the first 3 French reviews for the Uzes one all explain this too. But, as SO OFTEN nowadays, TripAdviser simply don't bother to correct their wrong entries - how on earth do TA therefore expect people to try and help them - or, therefore, to believe their reviews?
