It is Friday, March 2018, 30th, 1:10 p.m. We entered the restaurant and wanted to get a table for two. We saw that only 2 tables were occupied. But the young waitress has rejected us and was telling that the kitchen has already closed.TripAdvisor says that the restaurant is open for lunch till 2:00 p.m.The website of the restaurant says that the restaurant is open till 2:30 p.m. !!!So - as a result - it seems that this restaurant is not interested to get guests.The question - to get a table - was done in French.Rien a dire , à part que c est faux, je pense que nous n avons pas la même heure sur nos montres .

This is a lovely family run restaurant in Mougins. Very friendly, very welcoming with a great plat du jour every lunchtime. Never had a meal I haven't enjoyed, and the dishes are accompanied by raisins,, harissa etc so you can spice up as much as you like.

La Pigeot is always good, having been many times, I am always impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Portions are colossal and itâs comparatively inexpensive. If youâre in the area this is definitely worth going to, itâs totally different to the everything else in Valbonne which is mostly reheated from frozen tourist garbage, my comparison the nourishment at La Pigeot (an amusing name), is fresh, tastey and bountiful. A big thumbs up from a regular.
