We selected this restaurant after reading various on-line reviews on Moroccan restaurants in Pais and consulting the restaurants web sites, as we always have at least one meal in a Moroccan restaurant when we visit Paris and we wanted to test a new place. The restaurant is located in a bit of a drab area but presents itself with a splendorous interior decoration.For appetizers we selected the mini pastilla au pigeon (pigeon pastilla) for eu14: excellent taste, substantial size and no bones to pickThe second appetizer was a Briwate au fromage de chevre (aka Moroccan cigar with goat cheese, served in a triangle form) for eu8: rather weak to our liking and a bit mushy, my wife makes a much more fiery version, but definitely not bad at allFor the main courses, we selected 2 lamb Tagines:Tagine agneau pruneaux with prunes, almonds, cinnamon, 4 spices for eu22: excellent, very tasty and of course a bit on the sweet side, as it should be, for us this tagine is an all-time favorite which we order almost every time we vist a moroccan restaurantTagine agneau citron et olives a lâhuile dâargan et citron confit (with olives and lemon) for eu22: excellent, for us an unusual and refreshing combination1 glass white moroccan wine, Guerrouane I believe1 bottle red moroccan wine: Volubilia Classic for eu28 â very nice structureFree desert of fig and date and orange flowerMint tea with orange flower and pine nutsFree serving of eau de vie de figue (fig brandy)Overall a great, unhurried experience with great food, very good ambience and excellent friendly service â well recommended

We were staying in the Montparnasse area of Paris and went in search of somewhere to eat. This restaurant looked fine so went and tried it.We had 2 starters to share: Kellege and a potato dish, which was particularly tasty.For mains I had a large Tabboule salad, whilst my wife had a Tawouk, a kind of chicken kebab. She then had Farandole and I had Baklawa. We had 3 glasses of wine between us.There was a large group behind us with a fair number of other people. Most of the clients were French speakers and I presume they lived somewhere in the area. They did not appear to be tourists.We enjoyed our visit and would feel it would be fine for most people.

We came from the UK for one night in Paris and decided to have our evening meal here as we saw they did vegan options. Very kind server who made us some delicious food. The rose water was amazing. My boyfriend said it was the best baclava heâs ever eaten :) Thank you!

The dishes are amazing.I had chicken with tamboule and houmous.I used trip advisor in order to find a good restaurant in the area.It is very cheap.The waiter was extremely kind and helpfull.We wanted to order more dishes but he told us that were enough.We couldn't decide which dessert to choose and he brought to us all the desserts without extra charge.We paid only 35euros for two persons.DON'T MISS IT!

We werenât really wanting to ha e middle eastern food but opted for this because it was getting late and it looked like good quality food. And it was. We ate lightly- hummus, falafel, garlic chicken followed by mint tea - but it was all fresh and beautifully prepared and presented. It just felt a bit uncomfortable because there was a big group of friends of the owners who I think left the rest of us - just a few people - feeling a bit like interlopers.

Nice clean little bistro just tucked around the corner from the Oceania hotel and opposite the Carrefour store. Run by friendly chaps who freshly prepare the food and present it very nicely which was very tasty and filling. Next time we might drop in for some coffee and baklava...

Finding vegetarian food in Paris is not as hard as it used to be but still not that simple. Therefore I was interested to read about this place a it has a number of choices for us non-meat eaters.The service at this restaurant is excellent. A charming young man was the one and only waiter. He spoke excellent English as well as French.I would say that the weakest aspect of the visit was unfortunately the food. The flavors were just too subtle/bland and secondly given that some of the mains will set you back 17 Euro, they are too small. For example I was really looking forward to the bolani. However this version seemed only to have leek and very little flavor.Nevertheless they do have vegetarian food.

After a very warm welcome, which was particularly kind as we arrived after a very tricky day of travelling with two exhausted children, we had a fabulous meal. Really friendly and accommodating staff and a delicious meal. Even our daughter, who is a little cautious about new tastes at the best of times, tucked in.
