Hadn’t had Salvadorian food and thought we’d give it a try. The very friendly & helpful Server pointed us to the Pupusas – which for lack of a better explanation, are pancakes with stuffing. I got a combination plate with 3 different stuffing’s along with refried beans, rice and guacamole. Our server said to put the Cole-slaw type salad on top of the pupusas as well as a dressing that was also brought to the table. It was very different as well as delicious. The winner however were the Carnitas Tacos, with the marinated pork being some of the best we’ve ever tasted. The Chicken & marinated Chorizo Tacos were also very good. The Salvadorian Tamales with Chicken & Potato, although good, were not a favorite. For the 3 of us, with tax & tip and a couple of sodas, the bill came to around $40. Well worth a repeat visit! (It’s a BYO)

Very hard to find, this restaurant is located in a large Apartment Complex. Small restaurant that currently serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They start out offering you a small plate of freshly made, warm nachos covered with refried beans. I ordered the Chimchanga, a large, fried burrito filled with beef, rice and beans and served with guacamole and salad, $9. My wife ordered the Flautas, and received 4 of them very nicely presented which were served on a bed of salad for $6. The food appeared to be freshly made, not previously prepared microwave food. One gets the impression that this establish caters to Spanish speaking patrons but we were welcomed and able to communicate quite well with the waitress. Small, not fancy, but good authentic Mexican food. The menu is quite limited though and they are very hard to find since the location in an apartment complex is quite unusual. When you enter the complex turn to the right and look for a small sign that says Professional Building. They are located within that building.

Small, tight seating, however well worth the time. A TRUE Mexican cantina that you would not expect to find in Pennsylvania! The kitchen is tiny, yet produces outstanding classical dishes as well as a couple of their own creation. The food is not anglicized and is authentic as you would find in central Mexico. The chef/owner knows his business and the quality of the food reflects this,

We are trying Mexican restaurants in Montco and Bucks. The food was just OK. The free "chips" did not appear to be fresh or home made. The salsa they serve with them tasted like watered down ketchup. Overall nothing really that special, kind of ordinary and bland. Service was good, and the prices were a little high, especially for the quality and taste of the food.

Saw Local Flavor ad in mailer and ordered coupon to give this place a try. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Our server was very friendly as well as the other staff. Tried the spinach dip to eat with the tortilla chips and it was so good. Ordered “tacos al pastor” marinated charcoal grilled pork with grilled pineapple and chopped onions in 3 freshly made corn tortillas. I’m not a big fan of raw onions, and they weren’t listed on the menu. I just picked most off. It did come with hot sauce but it was too hot for me! Served with beans and rice. Excellent! My husband had “bistek a la Mexicana”, rib-eye steak strips with grilled onions, jalapeños and tomatoes served with beans, rice and tortillas freshly made and delicious! The bill with sodas and tax came to $35.00 but with my coupon I prepaid $15 for $30 so it was a great deal!

I have eaten here many times. I typically get one of the pork burritos. I have had the tacos and chimichangas. It is authentic Mexican and the lady is very friendly. It doesn't look like much from outside but the food is worth it. There is a Saguaro Cactus out front by the road so you know you have found it. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area, in my humble opinion. The salsa is very good. They also usually carry Mexican Coke, which is made with pure cane sugar vice high fructose corn syrup in American Coke. I have been very happy with this restaurant. As more people go there, they need to hire at least one more person to help at the tables. I have yet to find something I do not like.

Unlike the Pizza Hut that used to be located in this building, the food here is great! Very good portion size and reasonable prices. The only negative is that the crab chimichanga has no discernible crab pieces or flavor. It was the only thing that was not good out of all the entrees our party of 8 ordered.
