This is an authentic taqueria far from large city. Proper corn tortillas (from Chicago) and flavorful Lenqua (tongue) cooked perfectly with traditional Mexican style (cilantro and onion). I am a bit of a authentic Mexican food snob and this place gets my approval. Acceptable chips and salsa. Friendly staff, Typical taqueria ambience, don't expect margaritas and fried ice cream, this isn't ChiChi's.

Stopped here while riding motorcycles, was seated quick. Waitress got us drinks, just pop. We ordered tacos and chimichanga. Food came within 10 mins. So much food, 4 tacos, fried rice and beans, 1 chimichanga also with fried rice and guacamole. Plus salsas and chips. Place was clean and everyone was friendly. We will be back!!

I recently ate at Maria's with a group of eight, during a very busy evening. The restaurant was packed. I was impressed that even though they were so busy, the service was prompt, and the food was very good. Everyone's meal was excellent.

We decided to try some of the famous tacos at Carniceria Michoacan recently. We were very pleasantly surprised! The tacos were prepared on an open grill and were very tasty. There is little seating in the place, so we might recommend that you get these to-go. Probably, 2-3 per person would be a nice portion for lunch.
