Reviews on Mexican food in Seaside, Florida, United States. Seaside is an unincorporated master-planned community on the Florida panhandle in Walton County, between Panama City Beach and Destin. One of the first communities in America designed on the principles of New Urbanism, the town has become the topic of slide lectures in architectural schools and in housing-industry magazines, and is visited by design professionals from all over the United States. The town rose to global fame as being the main filming location of the movie The Truman Show. On April 18, 2012, the American Institute of Architects's Florida Chapter placed the community on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places as the Seaside – New Urbanism Township.

Great Mexican Tortas. Yes, the primary language spoken here is Spanish and the ordering system is a bit different from what you may be used to (order at the counter, get your food when called, pay at register in market next door when finished), but don't let that scare you off. This place is good.

Even though it has mixed reviews, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We started off with the Peanut Seared Shrimp Lettuce Wrap...the shrimp were not fresh...quite fishy. My wife had the Chicken Carnitas Soft Tacos. The tacos were fried and quite greasy, and the chicken was dry. I had the Fried Shrimp and Chicken Fried Rice Bowl. The shrimp was quite good, and the sweet chili sauce really complemented it well. The chicken fried rice was pretty good, although the chicken was dry. The spring roll was good, especially when dipped in the sweet chili sauce. I did not like the southwest slaw at all. The cilantro overpowered the dish. The service was average at best...and they appeared to be understaffed. The saving grace was the live music. A lot of the best local artists play here. If you ever have a chance to watch Chris Alvarado, here or anywhere else, do it. He is an amazing artist. IF we ever go back, it will be to sit at the bar for drinks and listen to music.Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry your experience was not perfect. Hopefully you will give us another try soon. Chris is back this upcoming Tuesday and plays from 5-8pm.

Unless you are desperate for Mexican food in this area, I would avoid. Dinner for 2, 1 app and tea was $48. Food was flavorless and barely above warm in temperature. Ordered a chimichanga and it was doughy. Ordered #15 enchilada meal, chicken and beef were flavorless. Cheese enchilada was actually pretty good. Cheese sauce and chips was pretty decent.

This is a small restaurant at the end of a strip mall, easy to miss. It is clean, staff is friendly and food is excellent. Big variety of dishes at reasonable prices, large servings, really authentic dishes that are cooked to order. Will come back soon.

My first visit to this restaurant was April of 2018. It has been my favorite Mexican restaurant between Destin and Panama City Beach. But today it is no longer. The queso was watery and something just didn't taste right about the salsa. I ordered a combo with a chile relleno and it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. It was Green as in raw and there was no meat in it just a very thin layer of cheese. I don't know if they have a new cook or what is happening but I would steer clear of this place for a while and see if they improve. It's really sad because it was good at one time.

My husband and I had a delicious meal at this restaurant tonight. We both ordered the Carbo flip margarita which was really good. The chips and salsa were also very good. I ordered the fish tacos which came with three tacos with grilled mani topped with a fresh pineapple salsa and avocado. They were delicious and served with black beans and an herbed rice. I really enjoyed my dinner and would order this again. My husband ordered the chicken burrito which also came with a Mexican style rice and refried beans. He also enjoyed his dinner very much. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night. You could also dine outside which was nice. Our waiter was very nice and our dinners arrived very quickly. We will definitely return here when we are in the Destin area.Thank you for the kind words and review! We hope to see you again on your next visit!
