On my way home from work tonight I stopped by the Taco Bell in Southgate and picked up a couple dollar menu items. And fortunately they got my order wrong but I was too far down the road to turn around and go back. So I decided to stop in the Riverview Taco Bell and see if they could help rectify my order.I explained to the young fella that they got my order wrong and put cheese in my fresco order. The order was taken correctly but prepared wrong. He said he needed to check with The manager. Shortly there after he comes back and says he's unable to help and I would need to go back to the original. I get it. I understand franchises and how they act independently. But it seems to me that for two dollars this location couldn't make a decision to accommodate a customer who obviously had just ordered a few minutes prior, had a receipt and food was still hot. Goodwill and a happy local customer are surely worth more than a two dollar loss, a bad online review and more word of mouth.

We had dinner last night and it was fantastic. It started off on the wrong food with the basket of chips being so stale we couldn't eat them. Sent it back and got a new one that was fresh and crisp. It was great. We had shrimp tacos in deep fried flour shells, chicken tostadas, the steak with cheese all over it. All three were great and the beans and rice that came with each was moist and flavorful. We tried the churros which came as an order of 3 with caramel and strawberry dipping sauces. YUMMMM We also had the strawberry cheesecake chimichanga and it was delicious. Definitely will be back!!!

We used to dine here often but the food & service went downhill & we hadnât been back for a year. I had a gift card to redeem & invited 3 friends to meet for lunch. We had a MISERABLE experience. The mgr attempted to make things better but even her intermittent follow up wasnât enough to salvage the event. Thank goodness for the new host, Elijah - his customer service was wonderful & he paid a great amount of attention to our party to try to improve things. The chips were unbearably salty & we were told we couldnât get them unsalted. The corn was very soggy. We requested BBQ sauce THREE TIMES & never received it until we finally got some to go. The music was way too loud, making conversation difficult, & it was never turned down after our request. Ashley, our waitress, was argumentative & rude from our first contact - she clearly had a big chip in her shoulder about having to wait on tables. She gave us incorrect info about coupon redemption & we asked to speak to the mgr who gave us totally different info. We heard her telling the next table that they were âway out of her service areaâ because she was the bartender, so she might not be around & they could try to flag down the mgr if they need something!! We wanted the check split 3 ways & she even screwed that up... Her service was so bad that I didnât tip her & Iâm usually a 20%+ tipper! Instead, I gave Elijah $4 & my friends added $2 to that. We were here for lunch on a weekday and even with their $8 & $10 specials, there were only 3 other parties in the restaurant. This is a place that used to be packed all the time - we often left because we didnât want to wait for a table! They clearly need new management & staff or I donât picture them being open much longer.Hi there, we sincerely apologize for this. My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant to try in the downriver area but we had Mexican on our mind so that limited us somewhat. We remembered this little establishment in the strip mall near Carlo and Joeâs on King Rd. We arrived around 5:30 on a weekend evening and parked and entered through the back entrance. A bit hesitant as the parking lot was nearly empty, but we went in anyway.The decor was decked out to the extreme with Halloween and xm radio on a Halloween station was playing. Not at all what one experiences at a typical Mexican restaurant. Though music was playing, it wasnât too loud and unlike many Mexican restaurants, it was peacefully quiet. The place is kinda dated but no problem for us. A few patrons strolled in after we were there a bit which showed me they do some decent business.Food was spectacular. I was wowed by my chicken enchiladas with no cheese, as requested. Their version doesnât put red sauce on the enchiladas and I thought I would be disappointed but actually they made the enchiladas so wonderful that I didnât miss it a bit. My husband had a medium botana and he loved his as well. Their version of the botana mixes the beans with Mexican sausage which makes for a nicely balanced entree. The service was good, not excellent, but good enough. We will surely return.

Family dinner and everything was outstanding. Carnitas and enchiladas were delicious -----flavors great. Rice and beans both cooked well. Many items on menu not seen in typical american mexican resturants. Service was really good too. Great atmosphere. I'll be back.

We took our son and grandson out for a late dinner. The wait was average but the food was fantastic! Server tonight was ok but distracted. Her friends were seated at the table behind us and she sat down with them to chat. She seemed a little too casual.She took longer than usual to bring us chips and salsa when the table next to us, seated after we were, received there's first. Our dinner came out more quickly.
