This is probably one of the better Mexican restaurants I have been to since I moved to the east. The rice was fluffy moist and had flavor. I had a California burrito only ate half because it was big. But it was very good. The horchata was good not a powder mix. I will totally come back and try something different.

We are so lucky to have El Taco Shop in Mocksville!! My wife and I ate there again today for lunch. Hands-down the best Mexican food in our area. My wife is hooked on the shredded chicken tacos (all the way). Today I branched out and tried the Tex-Mex enchiladas. Both meals were amazing.

Friendly, efficient staff which is a plus. Had to ask for a salsa with more kick since they one they brought out tasted like pureed tomatoes. The spicier one had a ways to go before it could be considered spicy. The fish tacos were served with a corn tortilla which gets props. They were flavorful and I would order them again.
