The servers and staff at this restaurant are very friendly and attentive! The food however is not as fresh as other restaurants Iâve been to. The guacamole tasted like Moeâs pre-made guacamole. The taco trio was just ok. The margaritas were good!

Well, the first review is all still true except I took the white signs off my red mini sharpening van. I still sharpen my friends knives at El Mariachi's restaurant every 2 weeks. This is a labor of love for my wife Nadine and I because We still love their beef and chicken burrito. However, my friend added a new treat to my favorites and I do not even know the name of it but it is Ono, which means really really good. It looks like a mana pua but it is awesome. White doe-y stuff on the outside green spicy pepper on the inside with beef or chicken inside and then covered with El Mariachi's special red sauce. You will have to ask the server for Tommy's favorite because I still don't know how to say the name of it. God know's I love those wonderful treats. It was so good that the day after I ate the first one I had to come back the next day trying to describe to the server what that thing was I ate the day before. Got 2 of them for Nadine and me. Hard for the Italian boy on vacation for the rest of his life to do living in Hawaii until Jesus comes back.Oh well. My reviews continue. I found a new restaurant in Mililani & Hawaii kai that I ate at these past two weeks that I do not see on trip-advisor yet. It is called Mike's Jersey subs. If you go and love Jersey subs be sure to get the ginormous Italian sub. You won't be able to eat it all because it is huge and Ono, Ono. You would think I was huge as much as Nadine and I eat out however; I am still the skinny ginni with the tiny h___. The way we do that on the Island is always get the box lunch for lunch and bring the left overs home for dinner. I do love living in Oahu. Makaha Surfside Waianae. Google it as You eat your El Mariachi or Mike's Jersey and enjoy the trade winds. Aloha; Tommy & Nadine

Our waitress was very attentive and efficient, loved the Molten chocolate cake, just a bit disappointed with the avocado appetizer.

Not the best mexican restaurant I had visited but not the worst either. Service is a little slow, but the food was hot when it arrived. All the steak items on the menu are really tough and chewy. Flavorful if you can chew the the meat.
