The restaurant was not clean and the food was poor and the portions were small except of course for rice. Find a grocery store before eating her.
Keep in mind this isnt a big city 5 star eatery. Its a nice sit down homestyle cooking jump off the highway for a break place. Small salad bar but nice options. We.tried pepper staek and a philly cheese steak. Good food and filling. Pricing is around $8-15 a plate. Right off I-10 and friendly server
If you want a real Mexican meal, drive by restaurants claiming to be Mexican and eat here. Why? Because you'll get a tasty pork tamale, cheese burrito and beef taco dinner in a place that looks like it was transported from Mexico to Texas. Not an American bastardized version of a Mexican restaurant. Friendly service, great prices and wonderful food. And cold beer. At a great price. What else do you want? If that's not what you want, go to Taco Bell. How would I know? I've eaten Mexican food all over the Baja and mainland Mexico. And this is the real McCoy. It's "The Alamo" in Texas' Hill Country.
