The food here is way better than any of the Mexican food you can find in town. The service was very good, we had a great time catching up with a friend that was visiting. Don't blink, you'll miss this one! Tucked away unassumingly into this strip mall filled with flashier signs in this gem of a Mexican joint. We came with a party of 8 people on a Sunday evening. We were greeted and seated promptly.Our waiter was a hoot. Great attitude and sense of humor! Our drink orders were taken almost right away and drinks delivered shortly thereafter. He provided our chatty group plenty of time to review or menus and was there to take our orders when needed. Our food was delivered in a timely manner, hot and prepared as requested.We got a mix of dishes... the queso cheese was delicious. The chips were warm. The salsa has a slight kick to it. The burritos seemed to be a popular choice and I heard no complaints. I ordered the shrimp salad which came with 6 huge perfectly cooked shrimp. It was the perfect serving size as I was easily able to finish without feeling stuffed. The chicken avocado salad was also quite good with the avocado dressing, which must be prepared in-house.It's a bit of a trek to this place from where I live, but I may head back here with my family. The bathroom was clean, the staff was attentive throughout our meal. There is plenty of parking here. They also have daily specials... I didn't note them all but I think Mondays are 2.99 for any kids meal and Tues was a margarita special (I remember the two things my family would be interested in going for).

All of the portions were huge but for a Mexican restaurant, they were a little expensive. It was about 5:30 on a weekday and the place was quite empty so it was not very exciting and didn't even have any music. We had decent service but it was service by committee so I am not exactly sure who was really our waiter(ess). I would go back and try it again.
