La salle a le charme des anciens bistrots. Lâaccueil du Patron est trÃ¨s sympa. La cuisine du midi tourne autour de plats du jour Ã©laborÃ©s sur place avec des produits frais. Câest simple mais trÃ¨s bon. Ã midi nous avons mangÃ© des courgettes marinÃ©es en entrÃ©e et un navarin de veau en plat principal. Beaucoup de goÃ»t. Au niveau des vins, que des belles dÃ©couvertes de producteur de la rÃ©gion. On a pris un LantigniÃ©. Parfait. Une trÃ¨s belle adresse sur Villefranche.

Went with a French speaking colleague which helped but a good dining experience. The owner looks like an ex boxer and is incredibly friendly taking time to speak with everyone. Had the cuscus royals - bowl of cuscus with veg in sauce, spices and plate of the most tender chicken, lamb and sausage. The trick is to mix all in your bowl - very tasty and very filling . Not all that cheap 66 euro for 2 but included was a beer each a half bottle of wine and deliciousMint tea afterwards. Very nice!

On an overnight in Villefranche and happened upon this unassuming restaurant whilst walking our giant schnauzer - we were all made very welcome and had an amazing meal, steak was superb!! Really would recommend, our hostess was absolutely lovely and good was amazing.
