We visited Sepúlveda for the first time in Nov 2011 and before going we saw there was a good choice of decent restaurants in this town and we opted for CRISTOBAL (also recommended to us by a Segovian friend), and we were not disappointed.It is an old-fashioned place with discreet waiters who do not pressure you.We chose the lamb chops, and ended up eating them with our fingers. Delicioso. They also have great desserts.PS If in the Sepúlveda area, do not miss the HOCES DEL DURATON for a long walk between cliffs, along the bankks of the stream watching the buzzards circling above.

I was lucky to visit it on a beautiful sunny Sunday and the town was bursting of action in the narrow streets of the old town. Beautiful old city full of history near Segovia. The views of the surrounding valleys are gorgeous.
