Regarded by many as the best restaurant in Vitoria. The place is simple but the food is impressive. Go for the "menu del dia", but it´s a good idea to make a reservation.Thank you for your opinion. We hope to see you soon.

Restaurante Los Parajes

We were a bit dubious when we arrived at this restaurant. We were early and were invited to view the cellar downstairs, which we didn't find to be very interesting. We were then seated in the restaurant, the first people to arrive, so it was lacking in atmosphere. However, our waiter changed all that. He was extremely friendly, gave us lots of information about the menu, helped us choose the wine and advised us we only needed to order one dessert !The portions are copious. We had the cote de boeuf for two for the main course. It was beautifully cooked, tender, with big friend potato slices. I am only sorry we couldn't do it more justice.Very good meal, friendly ambience.

We have had dinner in this restaurant during our holiday in North Spain in February. The restaurant offers a very good value for money tasting menu. This winter it was a truffle menu (which can be found on their website). The dishes were truly amazing! We have eaten in several Michelin starred restaurants, and this was definitely up to those standards. The dining room is decorated nicely and the tables are positioned so that every table has enough privacy. The food was perfect! In total we have spend 138 euro for 2 persons, for the tasting menu including a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and coffee. You should definitely go here!

El Clarete is an absolute must visit in Vitoria-Gasteiz. It offers real Basque pintxos with a creative twist to it. Definitely worth trying are the so-called cucharas or spoons filled with a delicious topping. It isn't cheap compared to other pintxo bars, but it is still very affordable for the added quality they serve. I did not take a full menu, but chose a variety of different pintxos and tapas accompanied by an excellent red wine. I think this is the way tourists should visit El Clarete.

Came here for lunch having read the positive reviews.Service was good at the beginning although we were left to deal with our coats.Nice room with lovely views. The restaurant clock was showing the pre 28th October time on the 7th November.Ordered fish soup 7/10 and crab salad for starters 5/10. The fish soup came in a tureen self served on to a COLD wide brimmed dish meaning the soup went tepid very quickly. No condiments like crotons or grated cheese. The crab was a mush and unremarkable. For the main course we both chose monkfish. This was served with 3 tasty prawns and sat in a sauce of the soup I had just eaten(!). No veg, or carbs of any description accompanied this €22 dish. The monkfish was presented as 2 large fried balls in a light batter. Not good. 6/10 at best.Little cooking skills demonstrated anddisappointed we skipped desserts not wanting to lengthen the ordeal.By this time there were 5 tables full in the restaurant. On leaving we were largely ignored. No ‘hope you enjoyed your meal’ or ‘thanks for coming’.The bill including 2 glasses of wine and 2 coffees came to €83. Could easily have spent €130 here had we had aperitifs, a bottle of wine and desserts.Wouldn’t return.

We ate here twice in our stay in Vitoria as the food was really good, and the owner was willing to spend time explaining the menu, and how big a portion might suit. His English was excellent. The wine was very good, and reasonably priced. We would have eaten there again, but it was fully booked on our last night

Very good and varied menu, with a lot of vegetables from own and surrounding gardens. Lamb and young pork "cochinillo" were great, same for fish and meat dishes. House desserts are great. List of wines is long and at low to reasonable prices. All supported by a great and friendly service. A great restaurant option when visiting LaGuardiaThank you very much for choosing Villa-Lucía to realize your lunch. His words encourage us to continue betting for the local, sustainable and tasty products. I will pass on your appreciation to all our team and to the suppliers of our local food. Capricho De Baco

Located on the outside wall of the beautiful town of LaGuardia, the restaurant has a lovely outlook over the countryside. We chose three courses from a la carte, including a fantastic fleshy octopus entry, massive rib eye (Chuleton) and lovely soft chocolate fondant. The wine list is reasonable with a good selection of local wines. We had a mix up with food - despite the English menu, the waiter does not speak English and the dishes were lost in translation. There was a waitress who came later that speaks English. Apart from that we enjoyed the dinner. Prices mid €20’s to €40 for big plate of beef. We would go again.

It is an excellent choice for people wanting to enjoy great sea-food, fish or meat. It is not a fancy, sophisticated restaurant, but certainly one of the places in Vitoria where you will enjoy the food the most. The sea-food is super-fresh and with a huge variety to chose from. The fish is exceptional, I would recommend "besugo" (sea bream). It as been run by the same family for about 50 years. They know their business and they handle it really well. The service is friendly and efficient. To top it all the prices are very reasonable. We really appreciate your opinion. Hope you visit us soon.Thank you.

My husband and I had an amazing dining experience at this quaint, romantic, rustic restaurant. Its off the beaten track but well worth taking the time to find. Each dish was absolutely exquisite from presentation to the delicate flavors of each bite. I love travel food shows and this restaurant put us in one of those small hidden gems that you sit on your couch wishing to have the opportunity to experience. The service was the very best of fine dining with each dish carefully explained, the staff was friendly and the chef came out and asked us how we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is small so reservations are a must. The set menu is very reasonable compared to a similar dining experience in US. If you have not already seen this restaurant on a travel show or read about it in a magazine, you will. Don't miss the chance to enjoy an amazing gastronomic dining experience.
