Ten minutes north of Sainte Maxime on the 'race track' that heads to the Autoroute at Le Muy, this lovely restaurant is in the deepest countryside. The interior is rustic, with many artefacts of a long-lost provençale way of life. Staff were welcoming, as was a super log fire.Two menus. One about â¬25 and one â¬39.80 (why not 40?). Most diners would be happy with a superb choice from the cheaper menu, as indeed three of us were. Copious fish. Great steak (in France? Yes) and varied starters. I had the 'nearly' â¬40 menu. Wonderful stuffed moules. And, a beautiful 'marmite' of many fish. Exquisite!The wine was local, as were many diners who all seemed to know each other. So far away from the tourist traps of St tropez!Highly recommended. I'm surprised we haven't been there before, as we have been at Ste Maxime 20 years.Beware; the road back to Ste Maxime has a '70' limit at the top of the hill, and very keen gendarmes try out their radar guns at the spot.

Travelling to the grimaud was our first experience in the south of France ! Beautiful landscapes and handsome restaurants like APOPINO ! Thank you for everything ! The attention and the diversity in the menu is highly recommandable ! But just to tell the ârisotto Citron and Poutargueâ was amazing and with such tiny prices. In a lovely location, almost under the bridge and right on the canal this small Italian restaurant serves good (and yet nothing exceptional...)pizza and salads. The service is quick, friendly and "merry", the prices are perfect "value for money" and the house wine really good. It is so simple and cozy that you can go...again and again.!!!

L'accueil par le patron des lieux est top, très souriant et accueillant, cela donne tout de suite envie.Les plats sont très bien servis, avec goût, nous avons pris une belle assiette de charcuteries en entrée. Les plats aussi étaient copieux, magret de canard parfaitement rosé, même si la sauce café n'était pas transcendante, mais dans l'ensemble c'était très bien, nous y retourneront lors d'un prochain séjour.PS : la vaisselle mériterait peut-être d'être changée pour certains plat... On ne peut pas dire que le magret était vraiment mis en valeur dans cette assiette blanche qui fait cantine...

Located on a cute little square in the village. Whilst the location is great, the food was nothing special. We had carpaccio, whih was clearly just 'unwrapped' and then put on a plate with some lettuce and dressing. They don't put a lot of effort into the food.

Beautiful setting, fantastic food & extremely accommodating staff. With 2 vegetarians, the staff couldnât have been more helpful.The food was out of this world. Three of us had steak which was incredible. Then I had goats cheese ravioli & my daughter had a cheese & walnut salad, which was incredible. I would highly recommend. Shout out to the Scottish chef who was fantastic.

Dined twice with friends at this small family run restaurant.Very friendly welcome and service. A la carte menu and a good variety on the Specials board - all our party very pleased with their dishes.We felt we were in a typical homely Provençal restaurant.

Copains has always been a lovely restaurant ....but now even better with Amandine et Franck.......two delightful - enthusiastic young people at the helm or should I say skillet !!Our lunch today was beautifully presented and delicious - Tulipe of Seafood- a masterful combination of local produce - as was the Magret de Canard served with the smallest and freshest selection of vegetables .............Deserts did not disappoint - especially the Crème Brulee perfection with redcurrants/raspberry/blackberry/strawberry decoration ............I cannot wait to return - and it will not be long ...............Bonne Chance!!!Thank you so much Julie for this wonderful comment. One of the new set of beaches in Ramatuelle. The place is fun. 4th of July music was excellent. Service was good and the food was surprisingly good. You donât expect quality food at these beach restaurants but this was different. A wide selection of tapas style dishes. The burrata was beautiful served. Worth the visit
