We were looking for a special evening out and found this fantastic place on TripAdvisor. And it was amazing! We had a feast from the beginning (faux-gras and its trimmings) all the way to the end (a chocolate cake with a meringue topping) all vegetarian and gluten free! And Nathalie, the chef, was really sweet and helpful! We'll definitely go back soon! Make sure you call to reserve! It was so fascinating that we forgot to take any pictures!

What to say, this is a little restaurants with seats in the garden, rabbits and chickens running between the tables. The food is fantastic, it's like being invited to someone's home. We have eaten there twice and each time we were very happy with what we got. The prices are very reasonable for Provance standards and the quality is outstanding. The serivice is unbelivably friendly and welcoming, despite our very poor French the owners made an effort to translate the menu only for us which is something I have never came across before.The chef occasionally brings the food to the tables as well and is extremely friendly and easygong, All in all this is a place we will always return to while in Provance, you need to try it!

I went here with my family two times on our vacation. The service was great and personale and the staff was very friendly to explain the dishes to us if we did not understand them. I seemed like a family owned place but I really have no idea if it is or not but you get the atmosphere. The dishes were great and the big boss (as he was referred to by the staff) gave good recommendations on dish and wine combo. All in all two wonderfull experiences. I will definately be back if I ever visit the region again. Oh and they have a pretty special frog living there too.

The location doesn't sound much, a restaurant tucked away in the corner of a light industrial estate overlooking a car park, but that really doesn't tell the whole story. It was really a very nice restaurant and a family run business. The son, Maximillian served us and he was great, friendly, chatty and a pleasure. The food was very good sized portions. Five of us had pasta and one had pizza. The lasagna was perhaps a little on the dry side but all the rest of the dishes were very good. We will definitely return as the value for money was excellent and the quality was generally very good. 120 euros for main courses a few desserts and wine and beer and for six people.

We discovered le Cabanon in May this year and were really thrilled. That time we were given a nicely decorated table in the front. Service and atmosphere were excellent, meal and wine were outstanding. The menu and suggestions gave us a varied choice So we wondered why we had never visited the place before and were determined to put le Cabanon on our list, since we visit neighbouring Vidauban very regularly. We went back this evening. A completely different experience. We had booked with 'The Fork' and had received Confirmation promptly. Upon arrival we heard they had not received our booking since they never consult the site! No problem though, plenty of free tables. This time we were hosted by a young girl, who disappeared to a space in the back without saying a word. ( we were supposed to follow her, apparently). Tables in the back are just plainly bistro-like decorated. 1st disappointment. Then the young waitress pushed 2 tables next to ours together. The suggestion board fell upon our table. An apology? Forget it. Next we ordered 2 glasses of champagne ( filled to the brim) which she literally smacked on the table. Menuwise the choice was very limited since 2 of 4 suggestions were 'sold out' (7.30 Pm on a Saturday evening). The regular menu is limited to various preparations of steak, magret de canard, and gamba's and coquiles saint Jacques together You find them in the starters, the mains and the pasta's. So making a varied choice becomes quite difficult. I asked for one of their salads as a starter. Impossible. Salads only come as a main meal. ( half portions? No! Only 1 full to share. Unfortunately hubby doesn't like goat cheese). So we went for just a main course. My husband was rather pleased with his magret, but my 'cocotte de mer' was served in one of those small 'le creuset' pots. (1 gamba, 1 coquile, 1 small piece of salmon and plenty of sauce) accompanied by a 'timbal' de riz and a few pieces of mushy carrots. Bread as well as the glasses of wine we ordered were brought towards the end of our meal. Obviously I was in for dessert. I thought of going for the 'café gourmand'. When the lady heard I was not keen on all the honey in it, she just left, without asking if we wanted some other dessert or coffee. So we just asked for the bill and were back home in just after an hour. Upon leaving, no goodbyes or thank yous. Moreover we then saw people being served on the terrace. We would have preferred it, but were never asked! Such a success the first time, such a diappointment now, unfortunately!

I have been in this region for nearly 20 years, but this was my first trip to Cafe De Paris in Les Arcs. With tables across the restaurant, in the park, it looked very tempting. The owner proved to be a fantastic host, very friendly and serviceminded. He even sat down with us for a nice chat! The food - we all chose hamburgers, was very good. Creative and very good taste. Not to mention the small cakes for desert! Oh la la :-)That particular day there was a great trio playing the most wonderful music. It was all just so perfect. A very remerable lunch. We came as strangers and left as friends and will surely be regular gusts!

Very nice food. Large portions. However felt we were given the worse table on the terrace. The French always save the best tables for locals. Still worth another visit.
