De vuelta del fin de semana pasamos por Lerma, para matar el gusanillo este local ofrecÃa platos combinados. El local aparentemente limpio desprendÃa un olor rancio. La comida era en su mayorÃa precocinada. El servicio atendido por un señor y una señora mayores es agradable. Precios barato.

If you do not have a table at the main restaurant, no worries at all, just have some fun at La Bodeguita, the menu offered will cover your needs by far.My recommendation, and it is almost a profanation of my principles, as I do not use to recommend but push others to check out menus, are "Los torreznos fritos del Palacio" (bacon rashers). Hummm.

We visited this tavern twice, once for a light repast in the evening, and once for the main meal of the day, lunch...before siesta. The evening meal was fine. We got there early, secured a table, and had a half English/half Spanish conversation which allowed us to cobble together our dinner order with the waitress who spoke no English. A mixed salad, a light meat dish, a glass of wine. All fine.We returned the next day for a late lunch. The tavern was filled with what appeared to be lots of locals, congregated amongst the tables in the back. We signaled to the waiter that we wanted a table. He acknowledged, but never came. We walked to the back, beyond the bar area, and he again acknowledged, but never seated us. After standing around for several minutes, amid a very loud crowd, a single waiter who covered the entire restaurant, and some inattentive bar tenders, we simply left. Bad service. Why wait when there are so many other fine places around Plaza Mayor?

We stayed in Lerma enroute from Spain to UK and had dinner here it was lovely good nothing fancy but great food, service, atmosphere and good value. Nice local wine on the menu . We had a lovely evening and will definitely eat here again.

Dined at this restaurant in Sept 15 after a recommendation from friends who had dined there in the past. Great menu in English, although the young lady who served us did not speak any English, but we got what we ordered by cross checking with the Spanish version of the menu. I had the T Bone steak, 21 euros. which was huge and cooked to perfection. I can honestly say it was the best and largest steak I have ever had anywhere in the world. Great bottle of wine for 9 euros. Only downside was the bread, two small round, flat loaves, for which they charged 1 euro each, even though we only ate one they still charged for two. So, if you don't want bread with your meal, tell them when it is brought to your table. Even though there was a fiesta going on outside, we still got a table without any problems when they opened at 8.30. Would definitely dine there again on our next stop over in Lerma.

We have been touring around Spain staying in a new place each night, so being organised and checking things for your itinerary on your journey is very important. Order of towns to be visited, check and book good accommodation, locate good restaurants. Of course things can change, we know, but what happened here tonight just spoilt our Lerma experience.We arrived this afternoon into Lerma and after checking yesterday by email (and receiving a reply) to make sure it was open today, we walked to find this restaurant to make sure we knew where it was for the evening. We had a couple of drinks and were told by a friendly waiter that the kitchen opened at 8.30 but come earlier to get a table we wanted in the garden (we had our dog with us). The evening menu was there for us to see, so we had almost chosen what we wanted to eat that evening already!We arrived at 8.10. There was just one lady covering the people already seated, with no time to get to those new ones arriving. At least another 5 or 6 tables had people arrive AFTER us. Another waiter eventually arrived and started taking drinks orders, but with no order of who arrived first. At the time we did not realise the significance of this, however when we eventually ordered our drinks, and by this time it was 8.30 and the kitchen was open, we asked to order food as we had already seen the menu and were told that it was done in strict order of who asked first!! And that somebody would come to us with the menu anyway. Imagine our dismay when we saw that almost all the people who arrived after us were attended to first. We had travelled a long way in the car and wanted to eat at a reasonable time as we have another long journey tomorrow. This is not a fast food restaurant so to have at least 4 tables have their order taken before you was not acceptable.This was pointed out to the staff by my husband, but to be honest the lady sorting out the food really did not care at all about what had happened. What's wrong with upsetting customers you haven't seen before and won't see again? Maybe Galoria is so successful they do not need the goodwill and satisfaction of just another tourist passing through?After such attitude we did not want to stay. What a rude lady. Maybe the boss?............but needs to learn people skills!We paid our drinks bill ( had our bottle of wine put in a bag) and left.As for the food........who knows, certainly not me!I have written over 190 contributions on Tripadvisor and think this is my most disappointing.

Pleasant fairly large well appointed restaurant. Suckling pig and young lamb a speciality. Full a la carte and two "all in" menus available. Chosen the "Jose Zorrilla " menu. which can be checked out in detail on their website. Excellent partridge salad and ham croquettes for starters. Delicious lamb chops although they could have been served hotter. Choice of desserts. local Arlanza wine, bread and water included. Warm atmosphere and friendly owner.gracias su opinión es muy importante para nosotros

We sought this small bar/restaurant out because of good reviews and are very pleased we made the effort. We followed Google and thought we couldn't be in the right place as we were in the middle of a modern urban development but there it was. It's a small modern bar with TV and all the usual noises- a very ordinary bar but if you appreciate good food at a good price try it. We had a simple meal, house salad ( beautifully presented, multiple greens, carrot, beetroot, tomatoes, egg, tuna etc) followed by bacalao con alioli which was enough for two, light, delicious perfectly cooked and with a delicate mix of flavours. We finished with coffee and a camomile tea (actual flowers, not a tea bag) and complimentary chupitos ( little liqueurs). To accompany the meal we had a large beer and a large bottle of water. Just over 31 euros in total and only five or ten minutes walk from the parador.
