Lower budget hotel with an awesome sushi restaurant. I will stay and eat here again, and recommend to visitors. Very unassuming restaurant with great service and wickedly cold MGD beer. Moving to Port Alberni and this will be a regular for me and family.

We were here for lunch and ordered Philadelphia Roll, Prawn tempura and a rice dish (can't remember the name) had salmon on it. It was all very fresh, everything is made to order and the service was impeccable. I been here before and this is one of the 2 places I would only go for sushi. Thanks again for great food and service. Only thing that bothered me was it was cold in the restaurant, I think their furnace was not working that day. Enjoy your sushi :)

This place is top notch! Two visits and the second time is even better than the first. The sushi rice is cooked to perfection. The price to fish ratio is unbelievable. I have tried all the sushi places in Parksville and can honestly say that I would drive to Port just for the food here in a heart beat. Too bad I live in Edmonton. I will miss this place for sure, the food and the people!

Stopped by for lunch on visit from down Island. Efficient and pleasant service, food very tasty. Gyoza fresh, house made, very well done. Tempura Yams done just right. Had Spicy Raman, very good and large serving. Spouse had Pho - large serving and very reasonably priced. Decor attractive. Little out of the way, but worth finding. Will be back for sure. Only downer..men's washroom lock not working.
