Aldgate Cafe

My partner and I have been coming to this charming cafe for a number of years and today didn't disappoint. We live down by the beach which is about a 45 min to hour drive away, that's how much we like this place. On a autumn or winters day, we enjoy not much more then sitting in this quiet cafe with a excellent glass of their mulled wine* and a freshly made pizza or pasta. It has become a tradition in our house and you should think about making it one in yours.*mulled wine is available in autumn and winter only.

The Messy Tomato

Welcome to The Messy Tomato. Much of Italian life revolves around the family dinner table. It’s well known that Italians are deeply versed in the gioie della tavola, or “the joys of the table.” Perhaps the first thing people think of when they think of It

Found this little gem on TripAdvisor. From the start we knew it was a winner. Funky takes on brekkie, the flavours were fresh and different to what you would normally see but truly delicious. The coffee was great and the service spot on. We even got some recommendations based on local knowledge. And the Central Markets are worth a visit
