Sagaing (Burmese: စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့; MLCTS: cac kuing: mrui) is the capital of Sagaing Region (formerly Sagaing Division). Located on the Irrawaddy River, 20 km to the south-west of Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river, Sagaing, with numerous Buddhist monasteries is an important religious and monastic centre. The pagodas and monasteries crowd the numerous hills along the ridge running parallel to the river. The central pagoda, Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, is connected by a set of covered staircases that run up the 240 m hill.

Went twice while we stayed in Mandalay, it was right next to our hotel so we decided to try it out. The food is very good, the first night we shared a Pan Baked pasta with chicken and pizza. The second night was even better, we ordered the bread with parmesan cheese as a starter and burgers as main, it was delicious. The atmosphere is nice, the music is soothing and the prices are really good. The restaurant is just a bit hard to spot because the windows are a bit dark but I recommend it!

Looking for luxurious breakfast in Mandalay? You can enjoy very nice breakfast with good price even though you are not staying at the hotel! I love the food there and feature of Myanmar arts are amazing! Good to go on weekend morning for breakfast and they have brunch on every Sunday as well! This was a lucky find not far from our hotel in Mandalay Good coffee cocktails drinks and food We ate there 3 times in 3 days as not much else around But it was a great find Good service and staff were lovelyHighly recommended
