The homemade pasta was good but basic. The prices were fair. But there was a fly moving in the restaurant and the waitress did not know English. However. the staff tried to help.

I stayed here while on a walking tour in the area and recommend it highly. Excellent home cooked food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant has accommodation available as well and it too was simple but very good.

The aromas emanating from the kitchen were divine but unfortunately it was only mid morning and I just had time for a cup of coffee before my train set off back up the mountain towards Alp Grum and Pontresina. But I was told the food was superb in this little cafe right outsdide the station: it was December and I had my coffee out on the terrace in warm sunshine! Lovely friendly staff behind the food counter.

The ristorante da Cesar (restaurant belonging to the Pensione Lardi) offers great food for correctly calculated prices. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with items from old times. There is also a garden which is very nice. The ambiente is very familiar. The old costumers go to eat with Paola, the owner and she is known all over the valley.pore

Motrice was conveniently located to the railway station. The main reason I chose this restaurant was because I didn't have much time between trains. The food was unexpectedly great. Even a simple dish, such as spaghetti pomodoro was memorable. Portions were generous and service was good. Prices were relatively low for Switzerland..

Il locale rinnovato da poco è veramente carino. In questa occasione abbiamo mangiato la pizza, ottima anche se non c'è il forno a legna. Il personale è stato discreto, abbiamo potuto chiaccherare tranquillamente in un'atmosfera rilassata! Lo consiglio!

This hotel and restaurant is right in the centre of the village and has a wonderful history.We had an excellent pizza and salad lunch here outside in the main square on a very hot and sunny day during our trip on the Bernina Express.The journey from St Moritz is well timed for a lunch stop at Poschiavo before climbing aboard the train for the return journey.The staff spoke good English, the service good and the food excellent. We were early, but had time to browse the menu while having a drink. Free snacks kept coming, perhaps because the head waitress felt sorry for us .It was threatening to thunder, but they let us sit outside, eventhough they cleaned the rest of the tables!When the food came it was plentiful and very good. The only negative were the uncomfortable chairs.
