Family friendly, wonât break the bank, attentive servers, good drinks. Go for pizza but also check out their salads, veggies and sandwiches etc. we shared their July pizza - goat cheese, tomatoes and other seasonal veggies it was fabulous. Cauliflower side and peppers also delicious. Good wine pricing and overall a place to return to.

I was there today with my friend who lived in Italy for years. This restaurant is in her neighborhood and an easy walk. The food is delicious with some unusual twists. The lunch menu has many choices and some inexpensive. I had a marvelous pasta dish and I ordered the small size. It was enough. My friend wanted me to try their smoked trout bites as a starter. Exquisite!

The Pasta Pelican Restaurant serves a wide range of tasty traditional Italian & Americana cuisine. The menu also includes an extensive wine and cocktails list. All items on the menu are available for dining-in, take-out and delivery. The Pasta Pelican Res
Wonderful Mediterranean Menu in a charming location across from Jack London Square. Eat downstairs, large full bar upstairs. Entertainment sometimes. Dine around 5 - 7 and see the parade of sailboats coming home from a day of sailing. Sat & Sunday is best to see the racers returning from the Bay with colorful spinakers up. Next to the Commodore fleet of party boats.

The food was good but not exceptional. The atmosphere is very nice, As others have mentioned, the service was rushed. At this price point, it is decent value but I will not be returning anytime soon.

Went there for dinner on a Wednesday. They take reservations, and we were seated immediately. The staff that served us was well trained, service oriented, awake and knowledgeable about the menu. The Caprese salad was delicious heirloom tomato, creamy mozzarella cheese, next we had the calamari appetizer, fried to golden in fresh oil, it gets better, on to the fisherman's stew (called something in Italian, not Ciopinno, there is no crab) Everything was fresh, well prepared and presented, tasty, the sauce for the fishermans stew was delicious, not a marinara cop out. They have a solid menu with choices of the day. Mom kept eyeing the pizza. Only drawback to me, It is a little noisy.

There are a lot of pizza choices in the Rockridge area, and this is the one that we keep coming back to for take away pizza. It's because the quality is very, very good. Service is sketchy. Some staff are nice, others rude. The prices keep edging up and up. But we like the quality.

Sugo is slow-cooked meats with pasta. Excellent, large salads. Great panna cotta.Been there half a dozen times, consistent service & quality. Amazing italian wine selection, many by the glass. Packed evenings, get a reso. Or get pastas and sauces ready-to-eat at their bottega on Piedmont.
