We ordered two medium pizzas during a current promotion. When I ordered the first one I asked for thin crust. The promotion included a free flavor crust which I was not familiar with and could not find any information about on the website (Pizza Hut's national website, not a local website). I ordered a cheese flavor crust. For the second pizza I ordered what the website described as "the all-new Primo Meat Pizza, topped with tons of premium salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage and seasoned pork" and also ordered a different cheese flavor crust on that pizza. The Primo Meat Pizza did not bear any resemblance to the description. There were very few toppings on it and it was not a thin crust as I had wanted. I had asked for thin crust when I began the order and the person taking the order did not ask about the crust for the second pizza, so I was surprised when I opened the box at home and it was not a thin crust. Both pizzas were extremely salty. I wonder if it was because of the addition of cheese flavor to the crust. Both my husband and I like pizzas. You know the pizzas were not good (so salty) when neither of us wanted to eat the leftovers.

This restaurant used to be good. When the owner sold it to a family member, it all went down hill. The food is still about the same, but the dining experience is bad. Very dirty environment, dirty employees, etc. Many people go here because it's always been a good place to eat...but people are stopping more and more due to the cleanliness.

Downtown Marion didn't seem to have a lot of eating places so we checked TripAdvisor. Loved our lunch at Baire's. Great salad with blueberries. You must try the sweet potato fries. Scrumptious -- best ever. Service was perfect, funny, smiling, caring. We'd love to go back next time we're in Ohio.

I don't care that they don't deliver. I don't care that they only take cash. I have neen eating this pizza (and it's forerunner Angelo's) since I was a kid. You can't go wrong.

The Warehouse, Italian Dinners

Treat yourself to the delicious authentic Italian food of the Old World, prepared from scratch just like Mama would have made.

I am very glad I discovered this gem of Marion. Located near downtown Marion, The Warehouse is located in a humble old brick building. Once you walk through the doors, however, the atmosphere is incredible. The decoration is warm, inviting, and tasteful. It feels naturally rustic and Italian. Whoever made the decision to purchase this brick building and transform the interior in this way should be strongly commended. Another aspect of The Warehouse that immediately impressed me was how talented and well-trained the hostess and waitress were. First impressions are important, and the warm happy greeting that we received from both of these people was something I will definitely remember about The Warehouse. I can honestly say that our waitress had more-thoroughly mastered the art of restaurant service than any other server I've ever had. In addition to the warm greeting, she got our orders correct, offered to make us a dressing for the bread at our table (we declined), brought us out more bread when we finished it (complimentary fresh homemade bread with every meal!), and asked us multiple times if everything tasted good. She even set our leftover box aside when we forgot it when we left, and handed it to me immediately when I returned for it a few minutes later. I was very impressed. As for the food, that was good too. I had the chicken and mushroom alfredo, and the quantity of chicken and mushroom relative to the pasta was very fair. The sauce was good, and there was some nice ground parsley on top. Our waitress had brought us some dried herbs which I also sprinkled on top. Our dessert was tiramisu, which was also delicious. So overall what would I change? Not much. One thing that I will point out, however, is regarding the appetizers that are complimentary with the meal. We had the choice of either soup or salad. I had a tossed salad, which I must say was somewhat boring, especially for an Italian restaurant. It consisted of lettuce, croutons, sliced tomatoes, carrot shavings, and yellow cheese shavings. Honestly this kind of reminded me of a Bob Evans salad and I was a little disappointed. I would suggest that the chef could come up with something a little more imaginative and unique, like the delicious lettuce/pepper/sliced-mozzarella/onion/grape-tomato/olive/chickpea salad that I ate as a complimentary appetizer at an Italian restaurant in Seatac Washington in late July. Other than this, our experience at The Warehouse was flawless and I will definitely be back.

Sansotta's Fresh Italian

Reviewed By OHisHome

February, 2019 tried Sansotta's for the first time, having a huge bowl of their California White Pasta Bowl. The Girl fixing the pasta bowl allowed us to make choices in the ingredients as she made it up fresh for us. It was very good. My only criticism is I would think you could include 1 dinner roll instead of charging another 99cents for that. Not a normal practice for most places. Sansotta's seems to offer a large variety of choices on their menu with daily specials as well. So we'll be coming back soon to try out more of the choices. The restaurant is cheerful and has a nice decorating theme going on. You place your order at the counter and pay, taking the food to the tables in the restaurant/or in nicer weather, you could eat out on their patio outside. If there was more Italian style music playing in the background instead of pop/rock music, the atmosphere might be more consistently Italian to go with the Italian food theme. But I often wonder why Mexican restaurants don't choose more appropriate music to go along with the cuisine offered. Probably just me. Sansotta's has a good thing going here in Marion. And sad to say is a pretty well kept secret. But it's worth trying out. I like it and hope to be back. Thanks for the friendly staff also.Thank you for your review,We look forward to seeing you soon.
