This restaurant was friendly, relaxed, great service and in no hurry to move us on. Being a party of 10, they quickly moved tables to accommodate us with no trouble. A group of 8 of us came here for a business lunch. There are two separate and very different sections of Cafe Amarti: as you come in from the square there is a section with a very woody and artisanal feel; further back is a large section, very light with an enormously high glass ceiling and a wall covered with plants. This second section is really unique. Service was absolutely fine when we were there. Food-wise the menu is long and typically Italian, with pizza, pasta, meat and fish. The starters and desserts were very good but the main courses were just average.

The food in Da Peppe was delicious, and the service was very good. The food portions were very good. When we left, me and my family were very satisfied. The decorations are the only thing that should be improved, but for the rest, I would be happy to go back.

We initially choose this restaurant due to its high rating on trip advisor. However, the food is not that great, we have had much better Italian food for half the price in Colombia. Since we are from Europe, we know what Italian food tastes like. Our pasta was boring, just noodles with cheese (and additional mini shrimp for 17k cop), and the pizza was descent but nothing special. Price/quality wise I would simply not recommend this restaurant, the food is overpriced and the service is also not worth the money.Hello Heida,I am so sorry you did not like our food. We do respect everyones opinions and tastes and healthy criticism is always welcome even if differs entirely with the big majority of our diners' opinions. What we DO NOT respect and consider utterly offensive is the insinuation that you, just because you are from Europe (The Netherlands, beautiful country, famous for its dairy, tulips, stroopwafles, pancakes, windmills, very nice people, etc. but not so much for it's gastronomy ... I never seen a Dutch Restaurant ... ), that makes you an expert in Italian food while we, the South American savages, your hosts, have no idea about Italian food ... Me encanta el ambiente del lugar, se siente uno en casa. Pasta hecha en el restaurante x su chef italiano Checo, atención cálida y cercana. Pedà pennes a la raviatta, deliciosos! El precio es bastante razonable para lo que ofrece. Volveré!

The ambience is breathtakingly lovely -- empty wine bottles repurposed into candle-holders, wall decor, and more. The views during the day or at sunset are also incredible. We arrived here for a late Sunday lunch/early dinner and really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace. All the oven pasta was exceptional, as was the wine. I will return here!
