One of the best finds in Bogota. On a busy Friday night with no reservations we were offered a table outside - with the hanging heaters the temperature was just fine. Good wine list and adequate menu. They noted allergies and food restrictions and catered for them. All items we ordered were delicious but probably the best surprise was the fondant au chocolat.....hands down the best we ever tasted.

The reviews here were on balance not very good. However, our experience in all respects was very good. The ambiance is very nice and appropriate for the type of restaurant this is. We were a group of five families with small children. First, our reservation worked perfectly. Table ready to go. To start we ordered one of everything (except the âcaldoâ) under Para Picar. It was all great. Then the main meal was varied but everyone liked what they ordered. The one notation I must make is that it took an hour for the main meal to be served but, as the waiter gave us a heads-up and told us it would be that long, it wasnât a problem; we took the kids to see the animals in the barn. The typical Colombian desserts everyone said were pretty good. I had the chocolate cake which was also a plus. The cappuccinos were also above average. Lastly price to value was more than acceptable. So to sum it up: even though I was a bit wary as to what to expect, we came away very positively impressed.

This is a family-owned, 2nd generation Bogotá classic which is lovingly and carefully managed and often full to the gills with the cityâs biggest power players/repeat customers at lunch or dinner. They use the finest ingredients and every dish is executed to perfection. The space is in a semi-basement and quite formal with attentive, impeccable, well-trained service, which many long time clients appreciate (itâs not trendy and thatâs not their thing but that does not mean that this is not one of the best restaurants in town.) A place we return to over the years because they consistently deliver a very high quality experience. One of the few places with moist duck, truly ripe tomatoes, actual gambas and morcilla de burgos.
Amazing and very inexpensive food and drinks. On top of it you have an amazing view to the mountains. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Disappointed, not so much because of the food but of the poor service.Friendly but inefficient waiters sent us to a table where we didn't want to sit, arguing that the others were reserved (although nobody showed up and the restaurant never filed up). Then waiters insisted in offering the most expensive selections, Food took very long to arrive, waiters had to apologize several times for it, Food itself was quite good, but the experience was ruined.

If you want an interesting 1/2 day trip (or all day), I enjoy walking around the little town of La Calera.Colombians say that A Punta de Nieve has the best coffee and deserts. I like coffee but don't know good from bad. My wife on the other hand is a coffee snob. She is always dragging me into this coffee shop.If you want real coffee and great deserts, it is worth driving to La Calera. I also like to wander around the town enjoying the views and people watching.

Our driver recommended this restaurant as he lives near the area and what a find. We stopped for lunch on the way back to Bogota and had the best tapas I've ever had ( and that includes Spain - the chef/owner is Spanish). The octopus and potatoes with an oil and herb dressing were tender and delicious. Other dishes equally satisfying. The chardonnay was good and went well. If we didn't have to leave to drive on to Bogota we could have stayed a lot longer trying other fascinating dishes, each perfectly cooked. I'd love to go back. Thanks friends for your opinion. It was a pleasure to serve.Hope to see you soon.
