Great Irish food. I liked the potato soup to start. I tried the shepherd pie and truly enjoyed it. The servers are very friendly. You should make reservations. My visit to Kelly's Ale House was a disappointment. The sandwich I wanted (portobello) wasn't available and I opted for the California chicken sandwich instead. The chicken itself was tasty but there was not enough pesto/sauce on the bread to make it moist enough to eat. I ended up asking for honey-mustard to put on it. My husband ordered the French dip which came with a small plastic cup of au jous that was barely enough for half of his sandwich. The waitress was helpful but the kitchen should not have sent out either plate the way they were.

We had my sister's bridal shower in their private dining area. The staff was very attentive and helpful from start to finish. The door to the patio was convenient to unload and load everything. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely hold another event here.
