Service depends on individual. Visited few times and always service is slow. But could watch the bollywood music video while waiting to be served. Being from Los Angeles and living in Neuchatel for a few months, I became home sick for the foods I am used to in the USA. I found this Indian restaurant near the hospital. It is an Authentic Indian restaurant. The service was excellent, The food was some of the best Indian food I have ever had. I don't know about the other parts of Switzerland but in the French part, the different types of restaurants have added their French take on their type of Cuisine, which is not a good thing in my book. I like the food the way it is authentically from that country. So, if that is what you are looking for, you must go to this place. The owner is very nice and speaks english. The decor is so so but the food is incredible and great prices too! We will be going back on a regular basis!

Small cozy cafe within a boutique. Offers one lunch Indian thali and one western meal. Food 100% vegetarian and prepared every day fresh. Menu changes every week.

Ananda café and Boutique is an oasis of peace in Neuchatel. Vegetarian food is available at lunch time - a "thaali" and a more generic middle eastern menu - and it's always excellent and fair-priced. The mango cream and the lassi are a must - so is a scout at the various beautiful clothes that Citra, the owner and cook, imports from India.Delighted to hear from you!
