It's been a while since we dined at Curry Star but we certainly were not disappointed. Once again the lunch menu provided was extensive and came with a glass of wine all for $10! I honestly don't know how they do it for the price given the substantial portion size! This business deserves to do well as they are always changing what they offer

My wife and I from London, UK were staying in Ballarat and fancied something different, so thought we would give Aroma a try.I ordered the Lamb Roghan Josh and my wife the Chick Pea with Potato curry. All curries come with rice, but my wife wanted a nann bread instead of rice, so that's what we asked for.Lamb was OK, but nothing special, the Chick Pea was REALLY salty and the nann bread undercooked. We were then charged for the nann bread and also overcharged $3.Would not come back and do not recommend.

We hadn't been to eat here for about 8 months but we were confident that the food would still be awesome and it was. We had friends with us that hadn't eaten here before and they loved it too. The food is delicious and served hot. The owner is beautiful and she is so helpful when ordering your dishes. The decor is inviting, parking is not an issue as it is not in the centre of town, the staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. If you love Indian, then give this place a try. I have eaten here on multiple occasions and at multiple events and have always loved it! Ronnie and his team prepare authentic and fresh Indian food and I love trying his latest creations. If you want the real deal, track down East India and you won't be disappointed!

An update to my last review of this great restaurant - we are still dining here regularly and it's a real favourite - our go to Indian restaurant in Ballarat. The food is consistently delicious (love the chicken tikka starter), the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and it is a very cosy spot in winter too. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is a very quick 2 min drive from the centre of town with plenty of parking (important when the weather is on the freezing or boiling side). Highly recommended!
