They don't have hundreds of items in their menu but what they have are nice to try. We had very nice fresh fish from the local fishery. They have very friendly personnel and cozy atmosphere.

We stopped for at the end of the pier for a delicious lunch. Fish and chips for the man, the batter on the fish was crisp light and tasty. I opted or the Cesar salad, with prawn – jut the best salad I’ve had for ages. Well done Teepott.

We had an excellent experience at this wonderful windmill! I ordered Duck, with dumplings and red cabbage which could feed 2 people easily. The fish soup was very good to start, and when we got the bill I thought he must have left something off, as it was so reasonable for the portions and quality. We also had arrived late around 3pm and besides a couple having a glass of wine, we were the only ones there, and the server, was glad to welcome us! Well Done!

Fast food restaurant with large tables for sharing.
I had crab soup (excellent) oysters(very good) and a large platter of large prawns, scallops, brown shrimp and crayfish(superb). The latter dish was off piste however the staff were great in that they would make up a dish for you.
Definitely worth a visit.

My friend and I explored Rostock and Warnemunde while on a cruise in July 2013...while most of our shipmates took the train to Berlin for "real culture", we were happy to soak up authentic German life in this sleepy little seaside town. After wandering the beach and market stalls, we had a mojito here at the Strandbar, which of course is made with Cuban rum since it's Europe!!
I do see how some could think this place is pretentious, probably more so at night. We were here about 3 or 4 pm, and it was mostly empty. We sat in one of the Cabanas, but then our waitress told us those were just for bottle service, so we moved to some nice comfy couches, perfect for lounging. Our waitress could have been snotty when making us move, but she was very sweet and shy about it, so we didn't mind!! She was very helpful the rest of our stay and asked many questions about America and New York City :-) She also offered to take some photos of/for us. At night, though, I'm sure it is busier and the staff is more stressed out.
Overall, we had a great time and made great memories.

You won’t find anybody bending over backwards to make your meal a friendly affair but you sure will walk out satisfied after a delicious meal. It was delicious!

Not worth 5 stars. Service non existent and utterly clueless. Décor very worn. Feels like it has seen the best of times with stains on the psychodelic carpet. Food- in desperate need of some TLC and Gordon Ramsay- style make over. Went to the Brasserie. Very limited choice. No caviar/ lobster/ oysters/ sea food platters, etc. bearing in mind you are right on the coast. Only traditional German cuisine like Herring with Bratkartoffeln. Desperate for some good food. The Butt- 1 Michelin star restaurant only open in the evenings. This is utter crap for a 5 star place. Semantics. A joke.
