This is certainly one of the few places where you want to order everything on the menu, simply because everything looks delicious! And for sure, everything we tasted was delicious and tasty! Both meat and vegetable specialties! The place is perfect for meat lovers!

Welcome to Uva Nestum Restaurant – Enoteca. The basic concept of the restaurant is to give you warm welcome in a unique and yet discreetly elegant atmosphere, offering a great variety of traditional Bulgarian and multinational dishes and drinks, as well as home – made desserts, quick and proper service and widely varied music background.
Travelled from Bansko for lunch with my wife. On arrival at the Spa Hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the location and quality. The restaurant and kitchen was busy and the weather was fabulous.
We sat at a table and waited quite a while before we were approached by a waiter. We ordered a main course each and were offered some homemade bread. A bottle of Rose was brought to us whilst waiting for our meal. My wife ordered steak and onions with a side of fries and I ordered a rolled pork with roasted vegetables. First of all the fries arrived and about 10 mins later the steak. My wife asked for the steak to be medium, but it was very rare and cold in the middle. my wife had almost finished her meal before my main had arrived. It looked ok, but once I cut into it I realised it was virtually raw. I sent it back and although they offered to 'perfectly cook' me a fresh meal I declined.
+ location and effort of the overworked waiters. Very nice Rose wine.
- Front of house not doing his job, poor execution of the food despite many chef's in the kitchen. (It wasn't like the restaurant was really busy). Sadly we won't be returning!

A bright and spacious restaurant with sea mood and a Panorama towards Rila mountain. During the winter the fireplace is always lit, and during the summer a vast Terrace attracts the guests of the complex. The menu which is offered is putting the accent on the fresh products. A special attention deserves the fresh fish and seafood.100 places and 40 places on the open air Terrace.
We visited this restaurant one Thursday evening in late september 2013. They were quiet - very quiet. But to be fair - everywhere is quiet in this region at this time of year so that was of no surprise. In fact all the restaurants in the Pirin Golf resort were empty as the summer season is pretty much over and the skying is yet to begin.
They made us feel welcome and showed us to a table. I ask for the wine list and was told there was none, and was taken to a wine rack to be given the chance to choose a bottle that I liked the most. They appeared keen to sell me a half bottle (assuming, I guess that as there was only two of us that would be all we wanted), but what troubled me most was that the two staff stared intently at me whilst I made my choice. Maybe they thought I was going to run out the door with a bottle of wine, leaving my wife to find her own way home - who knows? Actually - staring was the order of the night - which made us feel most uncomfortable.
So, we ordered. I had a grilled shrimp was was lovely and my wife had chicken with lemon soup. Both starters were excellent.
Then the oddest thing happened (for an expensive restaurant that is). Whilst my wife was still eating her starter the main courses arrived and were placed on the table. Very impractical as my wife had to leave her starter and go straight to the main, in order to enjoy that before it went cold. They made no apology for this error - presenting as they did as a fait accompli.
I had the Rabbit (which was rather dry) served with potato, carrots and onions, although they forgot to give me the carrots and onions! My other half had the lamb - which to be fair was delicious.
I complained about the missing carrots and onions - but the waitress clearly did not care.
So - my advice is - think twice about going here. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, or maybe its the norm. I have no intention of going back to find out.

My husband and I live in Bansko and we had been told by locals and tourists alike that Mitko's winery was one of the wineries to be visited in Melnik. What a disappointment. We only spent 10 minutes there since the cellar is very small. When we started to ask questions about how the wine was made in this area of Bulgaria, the different grapes, etc., the answer was "Why do you want to know?"!!!! And in a rude way on top of that. I could not believe my ears so to shorten our visit, we purchased a bottle of wine and left. A bottle which was totally undrinkable by the way and went straight into our kitchen sink when we came back to Bansko. This place is pointless.

We ate fairly early in the cool of the early evening under the shady sycamore trees. The menu is extensive and the food fresh and tasty. Loved the Shopki cheese, a baked local feta type cheese with tomato and an egg on top. And the Katino meze, a sizzling sache of pork, chicken and vegetables.

We stayed at the guest house adjacent to the restaurant, and decided to have dinner at this place.
The service was friendly, efficient and professional.
We ordered the traditional Shopska salad and Ovcharska salad for starters, and fried potatoes with grated feta cheese and kebapche and kufte for main course. For Deserts we chose Home made ice-cream and Drained yogurt with walnuts and honey.
Everything we ordered was fresh, well presented and most importantly absolutely delicious.
We were there in August so we sat outside on the fresh air and with the beautiful view of the typical Melnik houses and rock formations.
The prices were fair and we recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Melnik.

This was already our second time in Melnik (part of a Bulgarian roundtrip) and we wouldn't miss this particular place. Although the English ofthe staff could be slightly improved, we had a great meal once again: we usually go for game (deer or boar) because it is obviousl hgh-quality meat. I also tried the buffalo yoghurt with pickled walnut for dessert, All courses were divine!
