After some less than favourable experiences in mamaia for food we finally came across Chevalet. The food was very good and fresh despite it being quiet (end of season). The fajitas were huge and easily filled us. Mamaia isn't yet used to non romanian tourists and this came across in most places we ate where we were largely ignored. Chevalet on the other hand went out of their way to look after us, even offering blankets as it was cooler than normal for mamaia... not England however but we appreciated the offer. If you are fed up of cold food with lacklustre service in the area then the trek out to this restaurant is well worth it

Simply the best! I've been a employee in this wonderful place...after a couple of years I had my wedding there...I've seen a lot of places during my work as a waiter and a chef...but I can honestly say that this one is one of the most professional of all! All the best and Mr. Onut please continue what u know best to do...keep all your customers happy!

Great coffee in Constanta. Don't miss the cappuccino. The place is very good for all types of meetings. Good for a breakfast or lunch (muffins, granola, sandwiches, pie). Also, in the evening you can have a good drink - wine, cocktails and more. Sometimes they make events in the evening. I highly recommend this place. Great job guys!

We were large group of 70 people for dinner. The restaurant is directly on the beach but not overly romantic setting as it is between unfinished buildings about 50 meters from the sea. The interior is a bit cold with large round tables. The winter garden has small tables. Not really romantic setting. The food was good. We had way too much of it - for which I assume you can't blame the restaurant but our organizer :-) overall nice. May give it another try...

My wife really likes greek cuisine, we tried out this one. The food portion was big, fresh and delicious! They have quite a lot of variety you can choose from. The staff is nice too. The only "problem" is that it's quite hot in the restaurant. Would recommend.

To be honest the prices here are expensive for the area, my wife who is Romanian raised an eyebrow at them but we decided it must be good at the price point. The food came and it did not meet the expectation for the price...MoreHello Dave, thank you for your review. ”It's impossible to have great food at a reasonable price, when in Mamaia". There's just one of the urban legends that surround this place. Food Station is the irrefutable proof that you can eat delicious things without going bankrupt.
I respect people who respect their ingredients, their work and their clients. These guys make excellent pizza (better than what you can find in many fancy restaurants), tasty burgers, seafood and sweets. You don't have to wait forever to get your meal (20 minutes, tops, during rush hour). Bonus: the place is nicely decorated (someone really was paying attention to the details). Food Station deserves 5 stars.

On the good side:
1. Very nice and tidy place;
2. Amiable waiters;
3. Fairly ok pricing, if you compare it to the seaside restaurants&pubs;
4. Food is generally good.
On "to be improved" side:
1. The classic burger - seemed to me dry and with way to much grill (smoke) taste. And alo it doesn't come wit fries and sauce; you have to order them separately and are not at all on the cheap side.
In rest, try the tomato suoup!

The service is really fast. They have a great variety of pizza, food was really good and freshly done. Went there 2 times and loved it. (the view to the sea is a great plus as well)
