Café Loftet is a small and cosy café/restaruant serving light dishes. I've eaten here many times and always been satisfied. My favourite dish is their elk gulash soup which is absolutely delicious. If you are to visit the small village of Funasdalen, you will not regret having a meal at this restaurant.

Gamla Veras (Old Veras) is one of many popular restaurants in the heart of the small village of Funasdalen. On their menu is typical Swedish food as well as burgers and pizza. You can also have a beer or drink in the Pub. From the veranda you have a beautiful view of the lake. Go there, if you want to have a good meal or just a drink. I will definitely be back.

This is a small ski cafe at the top of the mountain, and based on experiences of similar places in Europe I had low expectations when we visited for lunch. However, the service was friendly and the reindeer wrap was excellent, one of the highlights of our trip. It's not cheap, but hey - it's a cafe on top of a mountain, so that's to be expected. Would definitely visit again.

We visited Skoogs krog restaurant on new years eve 2015. We had a 12 course dinner consisting of a variety of dishes from local products. All dishes were very good and some were among the best we've tasted. The price was 1100 SEK and we were offered a drinks throughout the meal for 650 SEK pp. The drinks offered were very tasty and matched the food very well. As soon as the glass was empty we were offered refill. Ice cold fresh water was also served and frequently refilled.
All in all this is one of the best restaurant experiences I have had and I will visit again! If you visit Funäsdalen in Jämtland Sweden I recommend that you visit this restaurant!

Loved it! Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous view and delicious food, good service (and quick). Children loved their pancakes. Waiter recognized us from earlier that week and knew exactly what which beer my husband tried that day!
Their potato gratin was the best. Liked my halloumi burger and the vegetarian salad was also excellent. Definitely my number 1 in Funasdalen!

I have eaten here several times and am never disappointed. It has the most fantastic buffet - huge range of delicious food for every taste. The service has improved a lot now and you are no longer required to clear your table. Cannot understand why this is not #1 on the list of excellent eating places here.

Vi avslutade vår långhelg i Funäsfjällen med lunch på Berggatan. Samma koncept gäller här som för Bertilssons andra restauranger och logi. Kocken och personal levererar kvalité rakt igenom. Saft på älgört, hembakad surdeg och att rätterna till stor del består av närproducerat och hemmalagat från grunden råder ingen tvekan om. Jag åt vegetariskt, zuccinibiff med fetakräm och grönt och sambon en saftig hamburgare - allt jättegott! Den enda anmärkningen sambon hade var att hamburgaren hade kunnat få någon minuts längre stektid. Berggatan skiljer sig från andra restauranger i backen som oftast serverar slafsig snabbmat till ett högt pris. Missa inte detta ställe!

A small coffee bar across the ICA supermarket. Great coffee at Dutch rates. Normal coffee 25 krone. Various cookies, pastries and bread. Nicely decorated. A pleasant and comfortable place for a morning coffee. Bread is freshly baked and friendly service.

Average pizza place, nothing fancy. Only one vegetarian pizza on the menu (but you can of course ask them to leave out the meat on all the other pizzas). Gluten free pizza dough available upon request.
