The resort has a lot to offer in terms of sports activities. The 2-storey cottages are suitable for 1 to 8 people, depends on the type. Each cottage is equipped with own fully-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower and toilet, TV, free Wi-Fi.
Just don't go there. really. not worth your while nor your money
Reviewed By ריטה סSo I'll try to be brief: 1. not enough hot water!! we were two people (one who particularly likes his showers and myself in a cottage for 6(!) people and we ran out of hot water every night) 2. the shower head was peeling off 3. some of the walls were dirty 4. stay away from the studio apartment!! it's just so freaking tiny!! 5. horrible wifi. 6. a not so good restaurant (Sales), seriously you have so much better options.. 7. the prices are HUGE in relation to what you get for it (which is nothing much) 8. for some reason we only got two small towels for our stay for the entire week. we requested normal towels and got them 9. our initial reservation got messed up and we didn't get what we were promised My advise: there are sooooo many places in the area. no reason to stay at Aplend.

Reviewed By pali_kcmrI highly recommend this acommodation. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. Everything was amazing and the lady who was taking care about our stay was super lovely and friendly. We had sauna and jakuzzi. The house looks typical old slovak style but everything is modern and you have everything what you need.

Reviewed By Gyorgy MWe stopped in this restaurant on the way from Budapest to Banska Bystrica. They have very good Slovak cuisine, with all the famous specialities. The staff is friendly and professional, the menue you can find in several languages. Very much recommended.

Situated in a peaceful surrounding the hospitality of the host running the beautiful wooden pension together with his family was again overwhelming. It is a great place to explore the eastern part of High Tatra and the countryside further east (hiking the high mountains, floating on Dunajec river, visiting the beautiful UNESCO-town of Levoca and the Spiss Castle or tasting Whisky and chocolte at Nestville, etc. - so, many things to do). But best of all is coming back after a day tour and being welcomed by Lubo, his hospitality, story telling and cooking quality of traditional dishes with his own twist, some local beer and schnaps - and the evening will be great and relaxed. All the stay we felt again as part of the place and not only as visitors. We will come again......

Reviewed By No_Miro_predsaNechýba nič. Útulný penzión s dobrými bohatými raňajkami a ochotným, zhovorčivým personálom. Veľmi dobré vybavenie aj pre deti. Všade čisto, možno sme mali smolu na preležaný alebo mäkkší matrac. Odporúčame.

Świetnie wyposażona kuchnia, ogrzewanie, znakomicie działający internet. Miejsce postojowe dla samochodu. No i przede wszystkim znakomity gospodarz, który dla którego priorytetem jest komfort i samopoczucie gości. Na pewno tu wrócimy i na Słowacji nie będziemy szukali niczego innego. Polecamy !

Reviewed By MikeTraveller345Cigarette smoke everywhere. They are breaking Slovak law - restaurants must have separated parts for smokers (separated by closed door). There should be direct entrance to the non-smoking area. Here you need to cross smoking area when you want to enter non-smoking part. But there it is full of smoke either as they keep the doors opened.

Reviewed By MagnounIhr findet diese Pension an der Hauptstraße, in der Nähe der Fußgängerbrücke nach Polen. Der Schwiegersohn betreibt ein kleines Kiosk direkt an der Straße. Top Unterkunft, sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr familär, sehr sauber, super Preis. Gepflegter Garten. Hier übernachten!
