Whatever you order will be delicious. Service is excellent. Extensive wine list but very, very overpriced. The wine by the glass was disappointing. A special occasion restaurant for interesting and tasty food.

We were looking for a place to have a late lunch while on our way to Interlakken. The food was excellent, high quality of meat and very good service. Good value for money.

All the fruits from Tropenhaus and our own breed of sturgeon are used in both of our restaurants. This includes exciting regional products from sustainable production.

The food from the kitchen is really enjoyable and tasty however we were really unlucky with the service this day. We are regulars over the years and so we booked our table well in advance for a birthday dinner. We were seated quickly, drinks came fine and the order was taken efficiently. We followed the recommendation dish from the staff thinking this would make things easier. We ordered the full fish platter for 4 persons though we were 5. (Gestorterplatte). We waited 20 minutes before we received a slice of bread each and some spread, then it was another 60 minutes before our main that consisted of cold starters and warm dishes that arrived all at the same time. we were recommended to eat the hot food first and the cold food last. From start to finish the waiting staff never filled our drinks glasses which was not a big issue, but strange, they also never checked to see if we were satisfied or in need, and no dessert menu or coffee was offered, which is unusual in Switzerland. When we received the bill the eldest of the group suggested that the food service was disappointly slow.. The waiter was beginning to argue the point before he realised he was outnumbered by all the guests. The result was an abrupt ending to what had the potential to be a great meal in a great environment. The food is good, the setting and ambiance relaxing but the service was embarassing.

I had veal schnitzel with fries and they cooked it perfectly. Often in places like this these dishes are too greasy, but it's obvious that the chef knows what she/he is doing. Also the garnishing was very yummy. It's not the most romantic of place, but I'd come here again to eat for sure. The lady serving me was genuine friendly. Always nice to be in Frutigen. The restaurant also has a fumoir, which obviously was more busy. Although one didn't notice anything in the restaurant, the toilet smelled of cigarette smoke.

Hanging bridge is crazy! The stream under is so beautiful! I'm scared of heights, but wanted a cup of coffee, so needed to overcome the fear. The cafe itself is very lovely, good coffee with reasonable price (not more expensive than anywhere around). The owner is friendly and explaining all kind of interesting stuff to tourists.

Pizza zutaten verwenden wir mit Aunahme von Thon, Sardellen, Artischocken, Oliven und Kapern keine Konserven, sondern frisches Gemuse, Krauter und Fleisch erster Qualitat, die wir selbst weiter verarbeiten. Die Salate werden taglich von uns selbst gewaschen und zusammengestellt auch Saucen fur unsere Teigwaren kochen wir selbst

Am Mittag während der Woche eine Pizza (32cm) nach Wahl für Fr. 12.50.--
Wo gibt es sowas noch. Super Preis und gutes Essen. Freundliche Bedienung und immer zu einem Spass bereit.
Direkt am Fluss gelegen mit schöner Aussicht auf die Berge.
Nicht nur Pizza. Pasta und Kebab sind auch zu empfehlen.
Wir sind oft und gerne im Falken und empfehlen die Pizzeria gern weiter.
