com certeza em se falando de cozinha portuguesa o gran gula esta na 1a opçao pelo sabor de sua culinaria alentejana e centenaria tradiçao . sou apaixonado por bacalhau e eles sao os melhores em preparar esses pratos pois sao muitas delas . amplo espaço para grandes reunioes e publicos onde a decoraçao ficou explendida . com certeza recomendo .

We were a large group that stopped here for lunch and we all raved about the delicious entrees.We loved the succulent and tasty pork,The bacalhau was tender and tasty and the vegetarian quiche was full of fresh vegetables and flavor. Sides included homemade chips, migas and rice as well as a very generous green salad.We dined on Chocolate mousse, rice pudding and walnut pudding and all homenade..yum! The staff were kind and really hustled around as the restaurant was full.We certainly see why.Worth a trip up to this pretty part of Portugal loaded with Cork Forests and great food.

Good choice of meat and some fish. The food was good and generous. Not of the highest cuisine but flavoursome and satisfying. If in the area worth a visit. Nice ambience. Good service.

Restaurant situated near the arena of Coruche when several times a year you can see some corida. Large choice of menu of homemade hamburgers and pizzas. Special menu for the kids. It takes a bit time to be served cause everything is made when you order the food. The quality and the taste of the food is very good and the prices are cheap.

Till that day I was fully convinced that I didn't like eels. But I tried them...and now I can say I like it. For me ensopado de enguias from o Choupo restaurant is really the best one I've tried!

It was a business lunch, without reservation, i think you'll need one during the weekend. I've been to this restaurant a few times and now i think it's time to give it a review following the excellent meal we've had. First of all, we had a waiting period of about 20 minutes for a table, it was a week day, lunch time. After that, the service was very carefull and the waiters (owner and wife i think) are always on the lookout for the customer needs. The food was amazing, very well cooked and with incredible flavour. It's always like this, i've never had a meal at this restaurant, that i could say it was average or below. The food is typical, with a good selection of fish. I always recommend the typical Alentejo food like "Pézinhos de Coentrada" or the "lombinho de Porco Grelhado". I think the prices are affordable, not too expensive given that the size of the portions is well enough for and adult, sometimes for two. Good decoration, great atmosphere with the locals, awesome wine selection, seriously! And great desserts. I'm only sad because it is located a bit far from my hometown, or else i would go there more often for lunch.

Small restaurant located near the football stadium. The chef treats very well the local products like pork and veal meat. We had pork and octupos that where divine. One portion is more than enough for 2 people. Desserts were very good. Highly recomend the local "sericaia" which is addictive.
