Went here while waiting for the train in Askim. The place is nice but they didn't accept card payment so I had to walk to the nearest cash point on crutches to be able to have a cup off coffee.

Peppes' Pizza

Peppes Pizza is the largest pizza restaurant chain in Scandinavia with over 2,500 employees. We are represented from Hammerfest in the north to Kristiansand in the south. Peppes Pizza is the market leader in both the restaurant as the Delivery segment, and has built a solid brand status through 35 years. Come by our restaurant in Askim, or take a pizza with you home!

Reviewed By Rockflight - Europe

I am really not sure why this "brand" is so popular in scandinavia. The pizzas are not particularly good. They are bland and lack any real redeeming features like taste or character and are hugely expensive (about $35 small, $50 large). I have eaten in a few of these places and had home Delivery and they seem to have the same standards everywhere (chain identity). Also I would avoid the house wine in restaurants too. It is dreadful. On the plus side, home Delivery is relatively quick outside of Oslo, usually 30 minutes or less.

Normally I manage to find something positive to write or say.
In this case, I failed totally:
We ordered inner filet for two. We got a dry peace of meat, filled with feta cheese (!).
We returned it, telling the waiter that it was not worth any money — NOK 195 or €25 each.
He asked if we would accept to pay only half the price, which we did not. We payed only for the bottle of wine.
Totally speaking, it was not even worth a visit.
