Østfoldbadet is an indoor Water Park located in Askim, one hour drive from Oslo. Probably the best one in the Extended OSLO area. It has three Water slides, 1, 3 and 5 meter diving tower, a wave pool, different cold and hot pools, saunas, cold pits, and more.
If you have kids they will love it and not want to leave.
The restaurant is not so good. Too expensive for the kind of low end products served. Serving sausages and potatoes, pizza, and some other kinds of junk food. The coffee is from a machine and is not good.

Solberfoss is a bit out-of-the-way, but provides an interesting alternative route - not only for those wishing to avoid the toll-post downstream.

Idyllic surroundings and information plaques. The surroundings prove both interesting sights of the aged hydropower plant and green fields perfect for picnics.
*The Bad*
Unmanned and the road crossing the river is both single-file and bent.

A good spot for spending a lunch in the open.

Fint sted, gode stoler, flere saler. Hyggelig betjening.

Dårlig køsystem, lange køer og for få til å ekspedere.
At filmen ikke blir startet før alle har kommet seg inn i salen. Kjedelig for oss som kom i tide (og fikset billetter på forhånd)! Med små barn som har lite tålmodighet kan det bli lenge å vente.
