Our family came from DC to Williamsburg for a day at Busch Gardens. We leave the park when the Hallowscream starts, as we have small children. I found Food for Though on Tripadvisor. I called the restaurant at 5:30, as we were taking the cable cars across the park. I put our name in for a 6:30 table. **They DO NOT take reservations, but this can substantially shorten the wait. We arrived at 6:30 and had about a 20 minute wait. Someone came outside with stuffed mushrooms to offer. NOT BAD!! We were seated at a table for 7 and our server's name was Emily. She was friendly and helpful. 2 of us had the "nutty chicken" and 2 had the shrimp po boys. The kids' pasta was good, but the grilled shrimp lacked seasoning. That was truly our only complaint. They were simply bland and pretty tasteless. We shared the croissant bread pudding and a creme brulee. Both were delicious. I don't even like bread pudding, but this was fantastic. We enjoyed our dinner at Food for Thought. It allowed the adults to have a nice meal, while the kids could be kids.....the tables are lined with white paper and they each got crayons. PERFECT COMBO!!Thanks for sharing this! I'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Emily, as well. Hoping you'll make it back to see us again next time you're in town! Best,Howard, Owner

A great atmosphere and novel theme to this quaint bar/pub. Food was exceptional and service was great. Recommend the brussel sprout appetizer, absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed the risotto with scallops and my husband had the trout. Will definitely return if back in the area!

Upon arriving inside the restaurant, we were welcomed and seated. It was our server's first night and he did very well. We both ordered the lamb shank. The meat fell off the bone. It was delicious! The dessert counter must be seen. The dessert all look wonderful. The young woman behind the dessert counter was extremely friendly, helpful and proud while describing any dessert. Outstanding Greek food!
