Find out what Greek restaurants to try in Northport. Northport is a historic maritime village in the Town of Huntington on Long Island, New York. Initially designated as Great Cow Harbour by 17th-century English colonists, the area was officially renamed Northport in 1837. In 1898, in order to localize governance Northport was incorporated as a village.

We usually get takeout but this Saturday night we decided to dine at the restaurant. It was very busy as was the takeout. We ordered and enjoyed the spinach pie which was good. Not greasy or salty and large enough to share. We shared the Greek salad for two with chicken kebab. Very tasty and well prepared. We love this neighborhood gem!

This is my favorite sit down Greek restaurant. Food is always great as is the service. Great meals at great prices. A must try if you are ever in the area.

Aegean Grill

We heard some good things about this restaurant, so my wife and I decided to check it out. We were welcomed by Anna upon entering. She was also our waitress. She could not have been warmer or more attentive. Anna spoke with a Greek accent which added even more charm. You could tell that she loved working here. She was very proud of the food and its quality. We were soon to learn why. We started with lentil and split pea soup. Both were vegetarian and delicious. We both had the spinach pie lunches with greek salad.Once again different and fabulous. To finish things off, Alex the owner introduced himself to us to see if we were happy. Let him know that we loved his food. Anna asked if we wanted anything else and we told her that we were stuffed. After we paid the bill. Alex asked us to wait as he handed Anna a piece of baklava cheesecake. Of course I thanked them. When we got home we had to taste the treat. It was beyond delicious and would have been worth going to the restaurant for. Aegean Grill is casual, first class and the food is different from most other Greek restaurants. Would recommend and go back to without a second thought.
