This a small four-table primarily take-away restaurant in a nondescript shopping center that offers wonderfully prepared and tasty authentic Greek/Lebanese food at very reasonable prices. The owner, Sam, who is there every day, prepares high quality, fresh food and greets every customer with a big smile and a friendly hello. Many reviews focus on the Gyros, which is excellent, there is so much more including many different kabobs, chicken Tawook & Oregano, pastichio, and my favorites, lamb shank & leg of lamb. There are various appetizers, soups& salads, and a wide selection of vegetarian possibilities. This is a great choice for healthy, Middle-Eastern food when you don't have time or feel like cooking.

Haven't been to a Charlie's in a while, but the Greek menu is still good, and the homemade baklava is still wonderful! Companions all had variants on coney sauce and seemed satisfied.

I would say this place is similar to Chipotle!!! It's a pita filled with goodies. You decided what you want in your pita and how much!!!! Toppings are endless!!!! Get your meat grilled!!! Have a little hummus on it!!! Or the cucumber sauce they put on Gyros!!! YUM!!! I like the wheat pita!!! I get so many toppings they usually can't wrap it!!! Put it in a bowl at home and use a fork!!!! They don't have the beans like Chipotle, but they offer many, many other toppings!!! If you want more than what they put on, just ask and they will add more at no additional charge!!! Groupon usually has specials to purchase!!! It's so much more tasty than a sub!!! I just can't rave enough about Pita Pit!!! Give it a try and u decide!!!

I was with a group of seven diners. Charlie's has private rooms available, not common for this neighborhood. The food is high quality at moderate prices. Four of us chose a variety of salads. Others chose dinner plates. All of us were pleased with the exceptional service and the quality of the food.
