Typical Bavarian restaurant on the top of a hill with wonderful views. When we reached there in a week day we had to walk 3,5 km on the snowy path and it was already cold and dark.Amazingly the restaurant wa packed with groups of friends that also reached the place by cross-country sky or walking like us. The ambient cannot be more cozy with traditional Bavarian decor and a big fire place in the middle. We enjoyed a lot.After the dinner we took our sledges and went down the hill along the same snowy path with a lot of fun.

Wir wollten heute, Sonntag einer der schönen Sonnentage im November, in diesem neuen Café einkehren. Alle Tische besetzt, aber nach kurzer Zeit dann doch 4 Plätze bekommen. Die Service Kraft die dann nach ca 15 Minuten kam, hat uns mitgeteilt, dass wir erst einmal nichts bekommen werden was wir bestellen wollen! ? Begründung, wir müssen die vorhandenen Bestellungen abbauen. In ca. 30 Minuten können wir dann damit rechnen bestellen zu können. Ok wir haben dann doch gewartet und gesehen, dass diese âRegelâ nicht für alle gültig ist. An einem anderen Tisch wurde sehr wohl bedient, obwohl diese Gäste sogar nach uns einen Platz gefunden haben. Am Nachbartisch hat man sich dann selber an der Kuchentheke bedient und dort erfahren, dass der Kaffee dazu 20 Minuten dauern wird. Fazit, das Personal hat nichts im Griff, die Kaffeemaschine ist wohl zu klein dimensioniert und der Schein, ein tolles Cafe zu sein, hält die Wirklichkeit nicht aus. Schade eigentlich, denn der Kuchen sah gut aus. Besser nur dann einkehren wenn nichts los ist.

The people who run this place are delightful, and we were impressed by how hard they were working to serve the entirely full restaurant, with one waitress literally running from table to table!And the place was definitely cozy and fun to visit, with a warm fire blazing in the corner fireplace.Alas, The food we ordered was only average. My salad was good, but I the schnitzel sampler was meh and not worth finishing. Maybe I should have ordered something else.

Ich kenne das Lokal schon weit über 20 jahre. Die qualität ist immer gut und die Portionen riesig.Daher immer wieder gerne.

There is a small river next to the hotel (the restaurant is located in the hotel) and a nice biergarden under the big trees. You have a nice view to the bell tower at the same time.Food is good and staff friendly. Tried mixed salad, Wiener schnitzel, desert - everything was fresh and delishious. Could recommend to everyone.

The Aumanwirt is one of those "Landgasthof" of which you have many in Bavaria. They are located in an idyllic setting, have a beer garden, and offer very tasty local food specialties. The accompanying local beer perfectly rounds up a great food experience. To be clear, this is not haut cousine or "star" restaurant stuff. But, the quality of food and the honest preparation are 100% enjoyable.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions and the quality of the food never disappoints. I usually opt for one of the veal options, the Kalbsrahmschnitzel is always delicious! For vegetarians there is also a small choice of veggie friendly dishes to choose from. Hopefully I'll be stopping by here again the next time I'm in the area as it is always definitely worth a visit!
