We four had a great lunch at this small restaurant just off the main pedestrian street. The service was prompt, the food excellent and imaginative. The kitchen graciously substituted vegetables to accommodate my wife’s allergy to summer squash. My fish was perfectly prepared. well worth a stop.

We chose a small steak evening meal. absolutely delicious, the sauce the steak was cooked in was beautiful, was served simply and rustic. Steak chips and salad was €17 euros.Only disappointment was there did not appear to have any local wines on the menu, the restaurant is in a residential area, so would be probably go un-noticed on the map. Was full of locals which is always a good sign. we really enjoyed our meal. great simple flavours at a good price.

If you are reading my review it’s probably because you’re trying to decide whether or not to go to this cocktail bar. Well stop reading now because the answer is. YES. go. Go right now. If you do one thing for yourself in life: it would be going here, right now. If you’re still reading and need more convincing:The place is owned by 4 young chaps who are beyond their years in the artistry and chemistry of food and beverages. The food is some of the best we’ve tasted in France (the hummus, shrimp, and beef tar tar are absolutely fantastic) the drinks are exceptionally creative and unique. They are combinations of flavors that excite your palate in clever and unique ways; and continue to linger even when your glass is empty. We’ve travelled the USA and Europe, and this is by far one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had to date. Please just go! Find your way past the clock, enjoy the ambience of great company, food, and drinks. All the best to the truly gifted artists of this incredible cocktail bar and restaurant. You are all incredible.

Because of the positive reviews we went here for dinner. A disinterested waitress asked what we want for aperitive, we asked for a glass of red wine and for the menu. After 10 minutes no wine. The menu was a list for lunch. We asked for the diner cart, this was not possible, diner is only late in the evening. A minute later another waitress put the diner menu on the table without saying anything or without giving any attention. Prices were at least 40 euro for a 3 course meal which is quite expensive for Bordeaux prices. The table next to us had beer already, and they arrived 10 minutes after us. We decided to just leave the place and had a great meal elsewhere which included service with a smile.

Finding restaurants like this tucked away I a quite neighbourhood of Merignac is what visiting France is all about. The restaurant is family and couple oriented. There's a great welcome when you arrive into surroundings of traditional and modern. We tried the Chef's menu which was 3 courses and an amuse bouche all for €35. What a bargain for a. Saturday night. Good wines are available by the glass. The a la carte menu looked very tempting as well but it is tough to beat the Chef's menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Excellent Bistronomique cuisine. Each one of the dishes looked really nice and tasted even better. The chefs in the kitchen really know what they are doing. Creative also. Service was very pleasant and helpful with suggestions. Will definitely return.
