We had dinner with our family of three on a Saturday evening (reservation needed). Starter, main (pot au feu, best ever) and desert were all 5 stars. Probably the best place in Megeve for a casual family dinner, find out yourself, no regrets!

This is a charming little mountain restaurant with local specialties. Very friendly and efficient service. We only stopped for a light lunch which was pleasant and good value. Very nice for a piste stop!!

This is our favourite mountain restaurant in the area. Conveniently situated on the slopes near the top of the chair lift. So easily accessible summer and winter. Good local food at good prices. A lovely building as Nd location. Friendly staff. Be sure to book at weekends.

Ate here on our last night and so glad we didnât miss it. Megeve is high end and generally you wonât be disappointed wherever you eat but this restaurant is just divine. The ambiance is so warm and welcoming and the staff are immaculately presented, very classy and they know there stuff. Definitely no complaints with any of the food we all ordered and the wine list is very good. All in all a very classy but relaxed evening

The chef is brilliant and combines flavours in the most creative ways.We ate 3 amazing meals- Dorade carpaccio marinated in beetroot followed by scorpion fish with vegetables Beetroot salad, tomato & mozzarella with several varieties of tomatoes, then taboule, rice etc. followed by BBQ chicken & pig with ratatouille & roast potatoes Tomato gazpacho followed by mixed poached fish with stuffed courgette Each of the desserts were delicious too!

Our family have visited Praz sur Arly for 8 years, both winter and summer. Whilst we wouldn't wish the village to change too much, this bar is a welcome addition to the area and well overdue. An excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, families and groups having a relaxing drink after a day on the slopes, with some food at a sensible price . The bar is likely to increase trade in the village; the previous lack of an apre ski location definitely deterred potential visitors coming to the village. Well done!

We were very disappointed this year visiting le refuge, first we were asked to wait although we had reservations and they were 3 empty tables , second the fondu arrives ( barely any ) for 40 euros the bread came much later so did the wine ! Unfortunately this place became very touristic and depend more on quantities the quality...Dear Lina,Thank you for your comment on the other hand our fondue is not 40 ⬠but 28 â¬, and yes there were three tables free on your arrival but was reserved and requested. Your text does not deserve such a bad note. We are sorry if the restaurant was full and dare to look forward to welcoming you back to the Refuge

Enjoyed a long lunch and stayed to watch the rugby afterwards when we arrived for a weeks skiing. The service was very good and the food excellent. It has a good variety of dishes and is reasonably priced. The bill was surprisingly reasonable for lunch and an afternoons drinks watching the match. Staff are charming.

I traveled to Megeve especially to visit Emanuel Renautâs restaurant. There is nothing pretentious here - first Mr. Renaut greeted his guests out on the balcony overlooking the mountains that inspire his cooking. Later inside, he surprised us with subtle flavors containing mountain elements - herbs in particular. Even the salad course, with geranium oil made me smile. My favorite herb was the âcrysilusâ ? (Wood sorrel leaves I think) - a citrusy tang that lit up my venison and strawberry dessert. And then there was the Porcini heâd found that morning while hiking. I could smell the mountain on my plate!

This lovely stop boasts great local beer and a light lunch made of various cheeses and hams. The couple that run the place are extremely welcome and friendly but the friendliest member of the staff is their dog Gaia who greets you at the door and encourages you to come inside.We plan to visit again when we repeat the walk.Thanks for your comment! It will be a pleasure to see you again.
