Good breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Open form 6 am so usefull in case of flights Early in the morning. Beautiful view of the park around the hotel.

Our family of four adults enjoyed a wonderful multi-course meal here, sharing our selections and thereby sampling a large portion of the interesting and varied French-themed menu. Using google translate to read the menu (in Japanese, which is also the only language spoken), we pointed to our selections. Siitting at the counter in this small, cozy space, we were able to watch the chef calmly work his magic: an elegantly assembled green salad, a carmelized Brie on toast, a delicate vegetable quiche in perfect pastry, pate, squid ceviche, vermouth-sautéed red snapper, marvelous tuna collar sauté, and a beautiful plate of assorted desserts including pot de crème, mango mouse, cheesecake, gelato and small chocolate bon bons, all accompanied by an excellent Montepulciano. A variety of meat dishes are also on the menu. It was our most memorable experience thus far dining in Japan, for the surmounting the language barrier, the gracious service, the skillfully prepared delicious meal, the intimate atmosphere and the value delivered. Cannot recommend more highly.

昔むかし、高貴な方々をお迎えするために、箱根にある、我が国の3大クラシックホテルの一つから、シェフの出張をお願いしたら、瀬戸内の魚に驚いたシェフは、そのまま、このレストランに居ついてしまった。そこから、中四国のシェフたちのプリマヴェーラ詣でが始まり、食文化に多大な影響を与えているという。今回はBコース（フルコース）を注文。オードブルのカニクリームコロッケから、デザートのアップルパイまで完璧な内容だった。瀬戸内の魚介にほれ込んだ名シェフの料理は、まったく非の打ちようがない。
