We arrived late in the afternoon, originally intending just to stay for a couple of beers. However, the appetising cooking smells made us decide to stay for a meal and although the restaurant was still busy, we were found a table for two. The food was both good and well presented. It was a very hot day and my fish starter and my wife's savoury pancake were well complemented with a chilled bottle of Muscadet. We both had steak's for our main course. There were many locals in the restaurant so it is clearly a popular place.

Accueil très sympathique. Service rapide et agréable.Quantités correctes mais entrée pas de grande qualité (salade en sachet, taboulé industriel, tomates sans goût car pas de saison..).Sauce chinoise un peu piquante sur le jambon, pas annoncé. Pas mauvais mais pas prévenu.Desserts maison à priori.

It was really busy when we visited at lunchtime - a good sign. The "menu du jour" was good value. For starter there is help yourself buffet with a really good selection, and the main was good. However service was not at all personal.... one lady, rushed off her feet, who was efficient but so busy there was no time for pleasantries. Shame.bonsoir, tous d'abord MERCI pour les compliments,mais vous s'avaient malheureusement ils nous ait très difficile de discuter avec tous nos clients car je suis seul en salle pour le service et la plus part des clients ont très peut de temps pour manger car il reprenne le travail , toutefois je serais ravie de vous revoir dans notre établissement. encore merci.Cordiallement

The first time in my life and I am old I have had an excellent meal in France. It was really tasty I had the La Karakouki, a wonderful shrimp salad and my partner Le tartare de boeuf, he was really impressed. Very very good and also good lovely good music. Nice place to.

De passage à Melle, nous cherchions où manger et nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cette crêperie non référencée sur Trip Advisor. Et c'est une belle surprise !Accueil fort sympathique, on nous laisse le temps de boire l'apéritif avant de nous apporter les plats... Très bien, je n'aime pas avoir mon plat alors que je n'en suis qu'à la moitié de l'apéro.Nous avons pris des bruschettas, délicieuses. Le pain est croustillant et moelleux, au top. La garniture est généreuse, et pas qu'avec les aliments bon marché. Ma kebab était bien chargée en viande, ce qui est assez rare pour être signalé.Les desserts étaient dans la continuité, avec un caramel beurre salé maison succulent, une chantilly très légère. Toute la famille était ravie. Le tout pour moins de 75 ⬠à 4, avec apéritifs et vin.Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain passage à Melle !

This XVth century village near the Aquitaine A10 is worth a visit along with a small town some 9km further. The local restaurant serves nice food and provides a solemn place to recover. Dinner is cooked very nicely although I do prefer the à la carte menu. Not real haut cuisine be it nicely served and beautifully cooked. Your tongue will like the play of spices and fresh herbs used in the preparation.

In an area lacking good French restaurants, Les Glycines stands out. Everything we chose was innovative, beautifully presented on the plate and very tasty. Loved my foie gras starter but the cod main course was really special. great flavours, superbly cooked. My companions raved about their pork mignon mains, especially the tender and delicately spiced radishes. The desserts were equally good. We washed this down with a good bottle of Montagny, which was not expensive. Service was first class. Loved the surroundings, especially the luxurious amount of space between tables. This restaurant is an absolute must if you're in this area of France.Dear Sir, we are so glad to see you enjoy this moment in our restaurantthanks a lot for my staff , nice to see you againbest regards

Something of a bohemian interior and certainly very popular with the locals. On market days you would need to book or get there for 12 o'clock or you will not get a table. Staff are friendly and there's a constant coming and going of characters from across the road. Food is good , basic but good value and for some weird reason we heard more English voices in here than we had for a while in an area not noted for les ros-bifs en vaccance.

The restaurant is well located on the main road. It is also next to the hotel l'argentière which is very very useful. The place has a huge parking, nice terrace, a bar and restaurant. The sevice good and friendly, the cuisine is semi gastro french type.

We went on Sunday lunchtime. Really easy to book a table online. Lovely food and delightful staff/service. Very good value. Great choices. They have a menu translated into English, which was very helpful as you are more likely to be adventurous when you know what is on offer (instead of just those dishes you recognise). The staff spoke good English to, which helped. Can highly recommend.
