A very busy restaurant with patrons from around the area and Paris, plus international tourists on their way from or to Paris or Northern France. Simple and unassuming, with informal, still accurate and careful service from the family of the managers or owners of the hotel it belongs to. We had good and relatively sophisticated starters and main courses: oysters, goat cheese on grilled eggplant slices in a cold tomato sauce, then rabbit with a mussels sauce and a steak in mustard sauce. We chose a caramel charlotte with salted butter sauce as dessert - all part of a reasonably priced set menu (around 30 Euros plus drinks, if memory serves). A substantial, interesting meal served in a great location - a green area on the river Oise bank overlooking a bridge, quiet and pleasant even if very near to the town and an shutdown, derelict sugar mill. They do cater well for English-speaking customers (I mean, English-only speaking customers...)

Il ne paye pas de mine de l'extérieur. Nous y sommes venu sur recommandation. Au final nous y retournerons sans souci.Personnel souriant et agréable.Un choix de menu pouvant contenter tout le monde. différents types de formules et tarifs. Nous sommes dimanches. 6 entrées, 6 plats, 6 desserts. Nous pouvons mixer les menus sans suppléments.La qualité des mets est là , la quantité suffisante. Bravo au(x) cuisinier(es).Nous nous sommes régalés.

This bar-restaurant run by Sebastian and his family serves an excellent range of beer, and good solid, home-made food at very reasonable prices, with first-class service even when busy. What more could you want?

2 of my favourite things ... crepes and cider... and both at Creperie Michelet are fabulous. My in laws live just down the street from this quaint little restaurant within waling distance from their house. The restaurant has a nice ambience, enjoy your mealon their comfortable patio. My only complaint is it's hit or miss as to their hours and when they will be open. Other then that, quite a nice place to grab a meal.

Never had a bad meal at Leon's but did not like the one I had then.I went for the mussels with garlic gratinee - therefore a "solid" dish rather than "liquid". next time I'll stick to the usuals.....

We had business dinner here for about 20 people, the service and the food were perfect. There were four courses, each one delicious and beautifully presented. Finished off with a delectable dessert, full and happy!

I had a good evening at the restaurant. The meat was à point and the dessert also very delicious. In general they offer a good selection of various dishes without oberwhelming choice.The service ladies were very charming and even the boss asked if everything was satisfying though he was very busy.Last but not least the guest room as a beautiful ambiance. This restaurant has moved to Verneuil-en-Halatte. It has been for over a year.Learned about through word-of-mouth. I've been twice and recommend it strongly.Excellent place to sample traditional French cooking. Both times I've been it was full with a couples, families and small groups, no one appeared disappointed.Friendly staff, great food especially if you want to escape from the "chain restaurants". The dishes are correctly priced for the quality of the food. Choose from set menus with plenty of choice and some little surprises....Don't be disappointed and make a reservation...Enjoy

We stumbled across this hidden gem of a restaurant during a visit to friends. Hidden in the park the location was superb. The food was tradional local cuisine at a very reasonable price. English speaking waiters. .
