I like everything about it except I honestly sincerely truthfully truly don't like what they had removed which are: bacons and ham.Butthey very, very, very, very good news is now: they definitely do have: breakfast at Subway!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just now happy that they removed bacons and hams.

While my wife and I and our great friend were on our mini vacation, gambling in Tunica Casinos, we decided to get away from the "not so cheap" buffets and try some regular food. We were driving through the main street through actual Tunica,MS, when low and behold there was a Church's Chicken. We all three decided to try it, since none of us had ever eaten at one. We went inside, and the place was very clean. Service was very quick, and the employees were very attentive and friendly. I ordered chicken strips, and french fries, with an extra french fry order. (I love french fries)! My wife ordered the chicken fried steak "platter" which is the chicken fried steak and gravy, and choice of two sides and a biscuit. She ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Well, the chicken strips were hot, crispy and delicious. The breading was SO flaky. I absolutely loved it. And the french fries were cooked to perfection. Not too dark, and not too uncooked. They had a nice, golden color to them after being fried. I was eating at a fairly quick pace, as we had not eaten any breakfast that morning. I finished ahead of my wife, which is normal. After I had finished eating, my wife was getting full. Of course, if a person had seen her "platter" they would know why. When she got her food, and opened her food, we were both amazed. She had "two" chicken fried steaks, a very large helping of mashed potatoes and gravy, and nice helping of fried okra, and a very good looking biscuit. As is usual, she shared several bites of her chicken fried steak and gravy with me, and while my chicken strips were delicious, I was a bit jealous. The steak and gravy was so tender and delicious. I have to say, other than Shorty Smalls, I have never eaten a chicken fried steak that tasted that good. It was just "mouth watering". And their gravy is to die for. Needless to say, I want a Church's Chicken in my home town. When we go back to Tunica, possibly this summer, I can promise you we will be back to Church's. The employees of this place are AWESOME! Talk about southern hospitality. I felt like I was sitting in my living room, eating my meal. We will be back, and while I love their chicken strips, I will most likely be ordering their chicken fried steak platter, and loving every bite of it!
